I think it's safe to play online poker, because you can not see the opponents you do not see them in the event of a major victory you will have no one to catch stingray somewhere in a dark alley))))

What horrible thing (laughs )

Yeah, I agree, online is much safer, handling real cards puts you in the risky position to get a nasty paper cut from the cards.

Yeah that shit never happens at Poker Stars

If you know about Absolute, why are you saying what you are about the RNG

Yeah that shit never happens at Poker Stars or any other online site and it even happens live.

In this hand we were all in on the flop.

Before you say I shouldn't have been in the hand below, I was allowed to limp in then we were all in on the turn

Hello, my opinion is that online poker and real life poker are equal safe. That depends on the players position and alot of more stuff. There are alots of factors and i think its too hard somebody to choose one of the poker games as more safer. :)

I guess both live poker and online poker have their risks on the matter of safety . But I think its safer playing online , there you have more chances for sth good , your bankroll is more protected , your anonymity is protected . In a casino maybe it's easier for some crooks to set up a fraud against you while on the other hand online they have , nowdays many counterattack measures to deal with these people .Of course you have to choose carefully the pokerroom you are playing , to be one of he most advertised with the most players and good withdrawn histiric , etc ...
so, online is better :) .

Real is better cuz you can see the cards and dealer, online is good too. I prefer real.

I'll go with online poker is safer. I haven't seen any convincing arguments that any large poker site is either rigged or "action rigged". These things would show up if anyone took the time to compile some true stats over a very large sample. I don't see any motivation for a poker site to do this, they make enough money from the rakes, why turn off people from playing on your site with a shady RNG? As for live, you'll find collusion, crooked dealers and all kinds of imaginative cheating, but, for the most part you're pretty safe either way.

Google Absolute poker and see what risks you will get playing online.

Very highly rated site with cheating going on.

I know this is unpopular especially on this forum since its sponsored by Americas Cardroom, but I think in my personal experience of playing on ACR is set to give more action, either that or people get bad beat on there way too many times. I have never been bad beat this many times in this many hands this fast. Over 1k hands, and get absolutely crushed by runner runner, 4 outers and more. This is a joke. Out of the 1k hands that I have played to showdown on that site, I have a showdown win of less than 20% while leading on the flop 83% and turn more than 90%. Stick to brick and mortar. On side note, I am in process of withdrawing from ACR and will never be playing there again, back to Pokerstars and real casinos. Pokertracker 4 logs are unbelievable on for that site. I have never been that "unlucky".

Although I find your stats a little suspect, You're ahead on the turn (90%) more than you're ahead on the flop (83%) but you're only winning 20% of the showdowns? The results can be a little skewed since a lesser hand would only go to showdown if he hits otherwise he's likely folding. I think a better indicator would be to log all the hands that go all-in preflop to see if the hand that is ahead wins most often. This is all a matter of perception, we always remember the bad beats but forget the times that the best hands win.

I've only played with on-line cards. I expecting play in a real casino, but this will happen when I improve my game. But I think that both are safe
