I think both kinds of play can be safe, if they are made safe from a player who is experienced enough to not waste his chips and use thought in his plays.
Of course there is a risk, but there is alot of argument not you to give you all in, and the opposite, to rise or call someones all in. With the more time you spent playing poker no metter if its online or live, you will gain the ability to rate the situations correctly and react adequately.

If you are a novice is the virtual game is safer because the opponents they can not analyze external.
This is an advantage to them.

life is always better. You can see what people do with the cards and there is no way that the game is corrupt. It is even better to have a dealer that is trust by everyone at your table

It depends on the players and their skills. More comfortable for me is online, but I also want to try an offline game

Try both just to satisfy your own curiosity.

I prefer on-line only due to availability.

You can play poker online and live poker safely . For this you need to play according to the bankroll and be able to play very good and you must know all the nuances of the game

I think it's safe to play online poker, because you can not see the opponents you do not see them in the event of a major victory you will have no one to catch stingray somewhere in a dark alley))))

I think there is no difference: play poker online or in the real. And here and there need to have a clear idea of all the possible risks.

Online is safest and most convenient.

Yeah, I agree, online is much safer, handling real cards puts you in the risky position to get a nasty paper cut from the cards.

First of all computers are not designed to "randomly" generate numbers. Even LCG has its flaws. But thats not the point. The point is without an outside audit, you have zero way of knowing what lies in the code. But after "trying" ACR, I have no interest at all playing there. Theres what you call bad luck and theres what you call bullshit.

I know 1k hands is a very tiny sample but when I said 1k hands, I meant 1k showdown hands. I've played over a million hands in these past few years. PartyPoker to Full Tilt to Pokerstars to regular casino grinding. I play 40-80 hours a week grinding the casinos now, but I used to grind 90+ hrs a week online before black friday. So please don't give me the crap about angle shooting, robberies and other b.s.
First of all, angle shooting is more of an advantage for grinders such as myself. Physical tells are also a very good advantage you would otherwise not have. And getting robbed driving home from a casino     oh please. I'm not trying to argue about the pros and cons or live and online poker. You could easily read that anywhere on the web. What I am griping about is the bullshit that is ACR. Never in my life have I seen so many bad beats (not just myself, but observing other people in the tables as well). There maybe a very high variance that I am witnessing (which may be even an outlier) but during these past few days, I have seen enough. More badbeats that I've seen in one day than I've seen in one month grinding 220 hours on PS. So put that into perspective. Over 1000 showdown hands, 600+ suckouts and badbeats in this last month. So yeah, you may see less hands but the variance of brick and mortar is not as "suspicious" as to an online site where they want more "action" to get people playing more and chase more and deposit more.

Yeah that shit never happens at poker stars

Google Absolute poker and see what risks you will get playing online.

Very highly rated site with cheating going on.

If you know about Absolute, why are you saying what you are about the RNG

I know this is unpopular especially on this forum since its sponsored by Americas Cardroom, but I think in my personal experience of playing on ACR is set to give more action, either that or people get bad beat on there way too many times. I have never been bad beat this many times in this many hands this fast. Over 1k hands, and get absolutely crushed by runner runner, 4 outers and more. This is a joke. Out of the 1k hands that I have played to showdown on that site, I have a showdown win of less than 20% while leading on the flop 83% and turn more than 90%. Stick to brick and mortar. On side note, I am in process of withdrawing from ACR and will never be playing there again, back to Pokerstars and real casinos. Pokertracker 4 logs are unbelievable on for that site. I have never been that "unlucky".

Yeah that shit never happens at Poker Stars or any other online site and it even happens live.

In this hand we were all in on the flop.

Before you say I shouldn't have been in the hand below, I was allowed to limp in then we were all in on the turn
