I am the conclusive proof that minesweeper is way more tilting than poker.
A misclick in minesweep is way more tragic than a misclick in poker
Losing a coinflip in minesweeper makes jesus cry also

Treid something new for me today, Bounty MTT's. First game $2 bounty w/115 players came in second and made 20+ bounties and 23 bucks for second place, my second game I came in 11th out of 89 with 12 bounties. Then a 6 seat bounty STT with 3 bounties. Not to shabby from a $7 br at the start of the day, imo.

ya I know it's chump change, but it all started from 1 CC freeroll win to make that first BR money. All I can say is Thanks to Nick and CC. I hope my future play repays him + intrest for holding the game there.

Boys and girls, I will now show you how the exponentiality of NL Holdem stakes can completely own you if you're not careful.

Looking at this, you may think "oh well, 1.5 PtBB, 55 stacks of profit - while not Godly by any means, that's not too shabby. Sick 90K breakeven, but overall no reason to start hating the game. So what the hell is your point, rabbit?"

To this I answer, "I wish you all the best luck in running good at the right times and not running bad at the wrong times. Because this is how 55 stacks of profit can translate into actual $$ monies:"

These are missing some hands, they're just the limits I played the most.

So, the only reason why I posted this is because I thought it was at least a little epic. I'm not looking for comments of any kind. No BRM remarks. No sympathy stuff. No hand requests. It's fine to read the post and just move on.

I forgot to add: even though the graph might imply it, I'm not busto. But the puniness of my bankroll status is somewhat depressing.

Wow chris, that sucks big time. Almost makes me want to quit playing knowing that a 17k hand downswing can happen to a player that is much better than myself. I was hoping to be up in the 400-600NL range sometime in the next 6 months. Maybe I'll stick to 100/200NL.

Don't get disheartened by it. If you're rolled for the next level, I definitely recommend that you move up. HOWEVER be prepared to move down RIGHT AWAY if you lose a few buy-ins. Don't stick with the higher stakes during even a minor downswing. Rebuild lower and try again. This way, it should be fairly smooth sailing.
I don't heed my own advice and get to post stupid graphs so you don't have to :D

I have managed a grand total of 7000 hands this month and am up a little over $1000 (including winning a 5400 sat). Rather pathetic and i doubt i'll be able to get more than another 7k hands for the end of the month.

I made the mistake of looking at 2+2 BBV and the thought that ppl can actually go 75 buy ins below EV has evaporated all desire to play this game as of late (that and more school than i can possibly do).

guy would give you implied odds to chase a 1 outer. How big a retard would you have to be to think KK is good there :S

Ouch @ chris :(

I'm amazed that you manage to keep playing. I would have quit for sure around hand 130k. gl grinding it back.
