Trying to play 25nl with a small roll on Tilt for the bonus, but there seem to be a lot of trapping, slowplaying, non-value plays going on. Is it a good sign when I'm running over EV, but EV is running nicely negative?

TBH Liam, it's not just last night, it's been for a few weeks now. Basically what seems to be happening is that all tables will freeze for like 10 secs or so. There's a lot of debate about it on 2p2.

Can you link me to that thread. Last night was annoying as hell, every time it seemed that I was in a big pot the client would freeze, feck it, I went to my ISP and upgraded my internetz just in case as well. Oh well at least I can watch better video now.

Hey everyone, I'm back.
October was a disaster for me, culminating in a massive tilt spew toward the end of the month. Got to the point where my play became absurdly robotic and got to be no fun, couldn't get motivated to play my best game, and couldn't beat any limit I tried. Went back and looked at my hands, and at 50nl and 100nl I was going through some variance but was also too agg in spots that were bad spots to get agg, and at micro stakes I just couldn't put anyone on a hand range and spewed there as well.
No need to feel sorry for me, it's not a big deal, just needed a break.
To get back into the swing of things, though, I felt a need to change things up. I ended up withdrawing most of my br on PS out of disgust - I'll be back at PS eventually, since I'm SN there and plan on being SN again next year (still playing the VIP tourneys). I'm mostly playing FT and UB - since I love the PS UI, this is very strange, but I'm playing UB cuz the games are so much softer than PS and FT, and I'm playing FT to clear a bonus.
That's not the biggest change though - I'm mostly playing microstakes PLO Hi and limit Omaha 8 and the occasional HORSE SnG or tourney (if I could improve my stud game, which sucks to high heaven, I'd be a decent HORSE player I think). What I love about poker is the mental challenge - and switching games has forced me to re-learn how to play, bringing back the mental challenge/killing the robotic play. I still play NLHE micro occasionally (generally after losing 2 BI's at Omaha ), but it's the exception for the time being. Once I get back to feeling good about my NLHE game, I'm sure I'll go back to it - but almost certainly to 4tabling rather than 6 to 9 tabling.
Oh, and since Omaha play is mostly postflop, I'm finding it easier to exploit bad players at micro. Haven't gotten around to getting PT Omaha or HEM Omaha yet - I don't much like the PT product, though I use PT3 for NLHE so I'm reluctant to buy the HEM product - so I'm 4tabling with no HUD.
But poker is fun again, so . It'll take me a while to catch up on everything here after being gone the last few weeks, but I'll be posting again soon.
