poker games it is rare to find a serious NL Omaha variant around and its most likely for peanut gallery stakes.
Pot Limit Omaha is the standard especially at
888 and
pokerstars.
Live, its a mix of PLO and Fixed Limit Omaha. I have yet to find NL Omaha in the
casinos where I am from.
However, if I were to make a comparisson between the No Limit Hold Em and Omaha variations I would say - NL Omaha would be much more action and drawing. The issue you run into is another playing can flop a monster hand or even a monster draw and ship stack.
Now you're almost always priced out so there's not much play available.
Whereby, in NL Hold Em' I think there's more play available. Especially to read the cards. Whereas in Omaha you need to see through the soul sometimes to get a read on cards.
