Molly's Game writer/director Aaron Sorkin said that "it’s not a poker movie but if you’re a poker player, you’ll enjoy the poker scenes. The movie is about her [Molly Bloom] and what happened to her".

And it is less for it to be released in theaters, I have a lot of hype for this film and already in the crittentomatoes the critics gave it a 95% approval which makes my desire to see it only increase, I just hope not disappoint me!

The book was great. Read it years ago. The movie looks good,but I'm concerned that Aaron Sorkin decided to leave out the celebrities that were involved. Takes away from the story.

ive enjoyed most poker movies out, so i will check this one out .

Movie is being released in Canada just after Christmas. I plan on seeing it as soon as I can. Everything I have seen and read suggests that it will be focused on Molly's life and not on the playing of the game of poker. The strong cast of characters should make it a great movie.

I'm surprised ya'll never read the book when it came out in 2014. Molly hosted the games. She never once played a game. Also Toby Mcquire treated her like crap. Before you ask, no. Toby, Leo Dicaprio, and Ben Affleck look-a-likes will not be in the movie.

I dont think there is something helful for poker players in this film.As usuall it will be Hollywood adaptiot of the story and far from reality screen picture.To my mind such films are really harmful for our lifesence.
