I think partypoker is fine, although i'm sure others disagree. They rape you a little on exchange rate compared to something like stars, but they have a $500 deposit bonus/decent software/easy deposit option for canadians (like the echeck option at stars), etc.

k so say i had already used my credit card to sign up a buddy on party, what would be the next best site? :D

In any case, i have no doubt that with study/play it would be pretty easy to crush the regs at nl400-nl1k (not really any HU stakes beyond that on major non-FT sites). I intend to play nl400-nl1k over 2 sites and i definitely think that $500/hr is possible doing that. If you are planning on giving HU a shot, i'm happy to talk about it with you.

HU has always intrigued me and I think I'm like 4.5 BB/100 over 30k hands or so at 100NL HU. Obviously not a huge sample, but during that time i tilted super super hard at some points. Its really just insanely tilting to me to play HU.

If i didn't flip out and start tilt shoving everywhere I would definitely consider playing it full time. Maybe in a couple months I might just give it a go for a whole month and see what i can do.

And if you think nl100 HU is tilting, it is worse at higher stakes because your edge is lower and the games are more aggressive.

My view on it is that you should either completely steer clear of HU, or, if you want to play it, play solely HU. It is hard to constantly change from 6max to HU and it is hard to work on HU-related tilt issues if you aren't focusing on playing it. It is such a specialist form of poker (coz of vastly increased metagame/depth of reads/adjusting and outadjusting, etc.) that it requires quite alot of work for it not to be a lesson in frustration IMO.

Party tilts the living shit outta me tbh. I really only will play there for a promo/bonus and I will happily steer well clear after that.

Any non-US player thats playing nl$100 and under on a part time basis is insane to be playing on stars imo, the amount of options out there is great atm , bonus whoring i-poker/ongame/prima sites will double your winrate, especially with the easy of depositing/withdrawal methods available.

Saw this on another forum http://www.wral.com/news/local/story/5021091/

"Once the door flew open, one of the robbers screamed, 'This is a robbery.' One of the patrons said, 'No, it's not,' and they started exchanging gunfire."

Maybe make sure the place your gonna rob doesnt have u out gunned?

Is it possible to 24 table on any of these sites with the ease that you can on Stars? By getting the 300k Milestone bonus this year I'm going to be up over 35% rakeback at stars.
