At certain times if I relax, it is always poker online
Does listening to music really help at the poker table ?? Never tried it ...
For some players, music helps to concentrate during the game. And some players give out listening to music during the game and properly concentrate
I listen to ambient music. The gigantic, and very popular Spotify playlist called "Groove Salad" is perfect for poker grind sessions. Most of the tracks are down-tempo music with little or no lyrics.

I only listen to music during those long stretches of being card dead in a cash game, where you see J6 7 times in a row. Usually when things pick up and I start seeing better quality of hands I turn it off and pay more attention.
Online at home I dont think music is a big deal.OK, so I am just curious. I see a lot of people listening to music with their headphones on at the table allllll the time. I was wondering how people feel about this? Are you able too? Do you think its better for your game play? Im curious to know.
Personally, I find it almost impossible to listen to music while playing a serious game. Especially cash games when there is a **** ton of money on the table.
For me, i find it to be sensory deprivation. I need all my senses working when I am playing. I have to be able to analyze the table. Analyze the way a certain player acts when hes strong or weak. Things he says, etc. With headphones on, you miss out all all kinds of cues. I think all your doing when using music while playing is screwing yourself.
How do you feel?
