It's hard to say who is the best of all time, because no one survives "all time" LOL

If Stu Ungar were alive, he would win tournaments today?
Did reese chip would have the same performance today?

For these reasons, I think Phil Helmuth is the best because he wins years ago and today he still wins,

According to Mr. Greenstein himself, he no longer does this because the big cash games which made the donations possible have largely dried up. Still, it was nice while it lasted.

Interesting opinion.

Personally, I still think Ungar is the greatest overall player ever. I mean, the guy was crushing Gin rummy games when he was 9-10 years old. He won so many tournaments that some casinos asked him not to play because too many other players would not enter if Ungar was playing. Then he turned his focus to poker and the rest his history.
