Im playing poker mainly for fun, but regularly. Cause I dont want to take the risk to throw away my job and go Pro, i guess its gonna stay that way

For me, poker is life. Everything found within this game e can attribute to life. The 2 go hand in hand. I sit within a casino for 50 to 60 hours a week playing poker. I do reflect on other things I can be doing. However, when treated like a job. My wife and I agree with the time spent. Building a safe bankroll took some time. However, with "our" rules in place. We seem to be managing just fine and haven't gone without in 5 years now.

I was a hardcore grinder when I first began. It was more about learning the game rather than BR, but I did ok. These days it hard to get a good day of poker, but I know this will change in the future once my children grow up.

Ive been playing poker since I was a kid, but it has always been strictly just for fun. I could never think of playing for need.

For me, poker is a pastime. Sometimes I win something. But I play for fun, not for the sake of winning. Maybe in the future I'll treat serious game of poker. But at the moment for me poker is a hobby.

I'm a disabled Nam Vet.
For 2 years I watched tv, went to the bathroom and ate,
I was chair bound and just vegged out.
I finally saw a WPT championship on PS and they said'
Join and play for free. I've played since 1960, home
games and at the bar next door where I played Yuker.
While playing another player, who liked my attitude and play
asked me if I would like to join a Poker Club, Railbirds.com.
She explained it's a Drama Free community and after all the
swearing and just bad manners I saw in regular games, I gave
it a try, I received a lot of greetings when I arrived, and in 3 mo.
Joined the League of Lizzards from around 10 different clans who
often played against each other. Didn't take long and I made the
beginning of lasting friends in the community, many still 8 years later.
Poker, and a good poker community saved me and took me out of
the depression I was experiencing during the disability.
I'ts always been a hobby for me, playing 5 sites, around 10 hours
a day for cash. I never had a month that cost me more than $60 total.
Couldn't get that much intertainment anywhere for that price.
Turned a $.18 6 1/2 hr. freeroll into over $500.
Yea it's important for me to play and be of service to other players
to give what I got, back.
Now on CC, I hope to share through Reflectons and Quotes from my old days to show my appreciation for being here. I'ts all about community for me as well as poker.

Poker is a big part of my life. It allows me the competition that I miss from team sports I grew up with all my life. I am able to compete with others and try to out play, out last or out think opponents. Sometimes I do, other times I do not.... I just love the competition and the money ain't bad either...

Playing a game that cannot be mastered is so much fun and such a challenge. I enjoy both online and live!
