... a Wining Session? I don't think I've ever had one of those.

Oh, ..., wait, I remember. It was back in the winter of 2011. Yes, I do remember! It lasted about ten minutes, give or take. It was marvelous.

I prefer to set time limit. If a session goes well then why stop?

You are profiting only in the long run
Anyway in poker. So I will continue
until I lose focus or reach my time limit.

And having won something already usually
makes me more confident in my game and
helps me to continue playing my best game.

So i think that a winning session will often
Continue to be profitable because it‘s easier
to stay concentrated and relaxed.

It‘s a better idea to end losing sessions early to prevent tilt and increase your losses with
unnecessary bad play

I usually play not only to win money, but just for fun. After I won quite a bit and thing get bored, I'll take time off.

This question is like a how to care about your bankroll, it's really not so hard, at first you have to tell yourself what you want to do, I meant, how much do you want to win :) and after this just stop this :)

Set up a time for playing and stick to it. You can continue after if you're still winning, but as soon as you are loosing, you can stop. There are some day when you're on a winning wave, it's ok to stay on it until it ends. But don't wait for the next wave :)

I do not focus on profit in the game, but I look at how well the card comes to me. If I'm lucky today, I try to play until I fall off my chair. If the game goes bad, I just try not to lose a lot, that's all I can do in this case.

I do not pay attention to winnings or losses, I play tourneys with buy-ins 0.5-1% from my bankroll during 5-6 hours a day and after session I usually check my balance. Such an approach frees you from unnecessary thoughts that can affect on your decision during the game.

I don't think it is good to think about quitting based on how much you have won. It should be based on if the game is good or not. When the game has some fish/very loose players. Play until they are flush out. When it's not good, get out.

I do believe there is a time to quit when you are losing. When you are down 3+ buy ins, it is time to quit. Unless the game is just flush with fish/loose players.

I'm gonna play poker till I die.

I'm gonna play poker till I die so if I ever get to the million point, I would play at a comfortable buy in ( about 500 bucks ) So I don't blow all my money that I might hypothetically make some day.

It's good for me when I win 10 = 15 = 20 dollars in the cash game, I play and if I see that I start to lose then I go to small bets or tournaments with a small buy-in, but if the card plays well and I win then I continue to play and try as much as possible to win while playing a card!

about winning

you can never win to much. you have to figure how much you actually won.you have to figure how much did you spend to enter the tourney,if it was a live event at a casino. how much did you spend for your room. food and travel expensive.

I usually stay until I'm ready to go... doesnt really depend on how much I'm up... This usually doesnt work out well especially if new players start coming to the table... I think I'm going to start trying to play my NL games at first and then once up and new players are coming to the table, take that money and play some limit poker... then maybe make it back to NL later on.

as I play MTT does not "exist" this business of quitting winning or losing, I play grid that I created and see the final result. Now for cash game players, I do believe that you have a win limit and a lose limit for each session. Because playing under pressure when you lost to try to recover is not very sure, and maybe playing more loose when you are winning a lot may not work either.

In the short term you shouldn't use your results as a way to determine whether you should finish a session or not. Many professionals subscribe to the idea of finishing a session after a certain amount of time instead of looking at your winnings or losses. I think that if you're winning then the table is definitely profitable and you should keep going as long as you're able to. However if I lose half of my buy-in then I leave and find another table to minimize my losses. Not sure if that's efficient or not but find what works best for you.

Dont think you should set monetary daily goals, think more of the focus you be on playing your best game and playing in good games.
