Nice question 
I prefer to play MTTs and this kind of play requires more time than the others(SnG,SpinAndGo,cash,etc). I usually play 3-4 times a week in the evenings , but it's very difficult because I have to go to work every day from 8 to 17 . Additionally I have a family with two children requiring a lot of time from my freetime, but this is not a problem for me . It's just a sweet situation

I play single table SNG's. Maybe a few of them every night before bed, like two or three, or maybe 10 heads up sng's.
For me I think I do better with this approach. I've been playing poker recreationally a long time and over the past few months I've been a winning player for the first time ever (About a 20% ROI on small stake sng's, I used to play pretty much only cash).
It used to be that I'd get back into poker every once in a while and play every free minute every day eventually going busto. Now it's more when I have time and when I really want to play.
Nothing wrong with playing alot more than I do, it's just not realistic for me due to family and work etc, and I also think I just don't have the mindset of a good pro poker player. I get too emotional after bad beats etc, so me playing a few SNGs at a time is good because if I get angry it's not affecting my next game because might not be til tomorrow or the day after.

I play every day on pokerstars, sadly I don't play other poker rooms frequently. The room situation was better earlier.

I play at least 1 MTT everyday. A month ago I was playing 3 or 4 a day but that was making me get bored or something after 2 or 3 days and then I just played like crap the rest of the week. So really I was losing more than I won and it don't take long to bust my BR if I kept on. I play the most on the weekend, and I think I play better because of that.

I play at least 1 MTT per day , when I get all day at home I play around a 10 and ja ta good too. I do not think getting some time without playing not affect performance . I think it would be even better because you can take time to study more poker and evaluate their tournaments and see how it can improve .
