Bad beats especially when opponent bluff with nothing pre-turn or pre-river, and they win. I think it's just better to not play poker rest of the day.

i am so vulnerable to bad beats i just go on tilt and go all in with whatever i have left ,which leaves me with heavy loses ,any advice?
At this point in my poker experience my tilting management is same as yours. Although I try sometimes to stay calm and recover the loss, in many tournaments I go all in onces or twice to recover faster. Sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Maybe when we will get more experience we will manage tilt more and more better.:beer:

The advice is very simple! Failure is part of the game, and no one will leave it.When it's the other way around!? you're happy it happened and someone is crying because of you.So you are not the first and not the last.Keep calm!

I stop playing and do something else. If you can't play A-game, take a break.

The hardest part is recognizing you’re tilting. If you’re able to do that when it happens, you just have to break. 20-30 mins is usually enough but some need more time. The trick is catching yourself before you do damage.

Time cures. Take a break from poker, preferably in the open air.

Do not go all in with anything, and keep playing your A game. You have no choice but to be more EV.

In my opinion, in such cases there are three effective options:
1. You can make a break.
2. You can go for a walk.
3. You can take a shower.

Tilt is inevitable what you can do is control and be aware that it will not help you at all.
If you're nervous stop playing for a few minutes and then come back later.

heavy tilt

I can advise only one thing here — to play at least in such a difficult and unstable state. Or not to play at all, turn off the computer right away and try to switch to something else. You can, of course, try to learn to develop a sense of patience and will, but it is more difficult to do. It's easier to just avoid such an uncertain and dangerous situation. To do this, try to learn very well to play and realize that you can play on any card until all five cards come out on the table.:dong::dong::dong:

Looking poker through a new meaning, you are not oblied to win all hands, neither all tournaments. Playing a poker tournament is just one attempt. In other past times, I thought other players played wrong, nowadays I fake they played wrong but most times the errors are mine.

Even though its hard to do, sometimes you have to man up and straight up quit playing poker for a few minutes/hours to calm down.

You have make a mental note that you are not playing at your 100% and that your judgement is hindered by the hand you just lost, since you're mostly focused on getting your money back asap.

This is the strategy I use. No one is excempt from being tilt. Play smart.

Change your attitude by setting the goal of winning at least ONE tournament after being crippled. It will force you to improve your ability to predict how well certain hands "run" when you're all in. (prob part of why this is happening to you!) Winning from 1 chip or less than 1 big blind feels amazing and it's great practice for final tables where we all get crippled and have to pick all-in hands to survive.

While writing this I went from $2500 to $400 in a stage one Venom satellite but I'm back to $2000 or about 8 BB's with plenty of time to get back into it. (all-in K-9 vs Ax to $4900) Last week I had the chip-lead at the final table of a challenging 246 man event, caught AA 4-handed - went all-in and got called by 77 - 77 rivered a straight and left me with 2 BB's. It hurt but I'm not giving up the title, so I take a deep breath and recall how often I catch cards and get super aggressive... Me and the 77 guy end up heads up -- evened the stacks and we go all in with my K6 vs his K7, he gets a pair of sevens on the flop and it's over. But because I fought back I was/am able to sincerely enjoy the whole 4 hour effort/experience instead of feeling like chump who got robbed?

Another reason you must learn how to do this: When your cards are running bad, fighting back creates some kind of magic that can turn your cards back into winners. Win just ONE! :vroam::bike:

Yes. Take a break and make another deposit. Then, when you finally start to respect the money that you are depositing and losing, you will learn not to tilt.
I like this philosophy. Tilted all my tourney winnings away. Now I must deposit makes a big difference [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

the answer is under your nose.
You have already identified what mistake you are making.
It remains just not to do it.
That's all.
Easy
There is no other advice here.
I used to play not on a bankroll, and therefore I often had to start all over again, from freerolls. Guess what I did to fix it? That's right, I started playing on the bankroll.
It's simple. All problems are solved this way.

Tilt off

K9 made me became very tilt on a tournament that affected my game on others pokers games...With that in mind, i choose to play each hand like is the last and every fold becomes logical, tide and agressive...and finally knowing how and when to bluff. At the end of the day, tilt mode on, you are aware of your own mind so the tilt mode switch off.

Anyone who says they dont tilt or never have I believe are lying lol.

I will say this, your best advice is to take a step away before you tweakout and donate the rest of your stack. All you need is a chip & a chair. Poker is a game of the mind, and often what we speak manifest to reality, so if you speak positive you may see positive results, if you speak negative you see negative results.

Often times after taking a bad beat I considered myself done as I was mentally defeated.
I have to say the times since where I have regained my composure after taking bad beats, I've still gone on to win many times.

If you count yourself out, than you've already lost.

Winning starts in the mindset!

Like other feelings and impulses in poker, bad beats and tilts are hard to dominate, but you've got to train, to meditate, do breathing exercises...
Remember that you are the most difficult opponent to defeat.

Many advices tell how to cope with tilt when it is already present. Much better is to see what causes the tilt and fix the reason for good. I can recommend the book "Mental Game of Poker" by Jared Tendler. It really gives you the correct way to learn and improve your game because how you learn and behave (your mind game) is just as important as what you learn for the game.

I empathize with you and used to go on tilt very often.

I had to come to terms with the fact that any hand can win in poker. Picture me getting AA on the first hand of a tournament and calling a shove, only to find out that he had 72o and won the hand. I was livid!

One important skill that I have to learn is pot control. If the board that you are playing has a lot of draws be aggressive only with the nuts. If it is a dry board you can be a little optimistic on your chances and level of aggression.

All the best at the tables.
