I learned playing 7 card stud at 15 years ago, then quickly converter to holdem once it got big, after that I started playing PLO and was really good at that.
I remember I was around 10 years old and somehow I was able to create myself a pokerstars account. I would play the freerolls and I remember how bad I was. Eventually I won my first freeroll and I was hooked ever since. Then tragedy struck preventing me from being able to play pokerstars anymore. So I stopped playing and once I turned 21 the first thing I did was go to the casino to play and I'v been playing ever since.
About 10 years worth of online poker and 7 years off and on playing live games. I prefer MTTs because I can drink like a fish and not play like one lol. Booze actually gets me hyped up unlike most people, and my brain is always in overdrive.
I started play just after joe hachem won the wsop mainevent ( im australian ), i figured if joe could win millions so could i ! 13 years later im still playing on and off, still havnt won millions
I've been playing for about 12 years and counting. "We don't get played cuz' we get old. We get old cuz' we get played. That's poker folk." It's been a roller coaster but that's why some people don't play no-limit Texas Dolly hold em'. "They can't handle the swings."-M. Damon. That's gonna' get the people who hate the people who quote Rounders m.a.d.
I've been playing poker on and off since 2011. I would say I have gotten better because of the experience and I usually play online nowadays than live poker. It is definitely different from playing live and online. Usually I play cash games and some tournaments or sit n gos.
