I have been playing for about 7 years, but I study theory and accumulate skills, with the analysis of hands (not always) I have been playing for 4 years. The last 2 years of stagnation in the game, I have no growth in the game ((.
Also in my youth, I played 2 years in a five-card poker (draw poker) in a live casino.

I started playing when I was in the 2nd grade. My mom had a penny jar and she would sit my brothers and I down at the table a few times a week to play. This went for a few years until we graduated to actual chips, My grandpa would also take me to his weekly card game (and have me spy on the other people). Fast forward to my teenage years and that's we could play in the holiday games with my uncles.

None of these games were Hold'em and I wasn't really an avid player. In 2006, I met a gal who was a professional grinder and she introduced me to the game and life. I got into it hard for a few years but didn't like the swings and the hours. So, I went back to college and then to law school and now have been back for awhile playing recreationally, but still dream of one day taking down a bracelet or two.
