Negative, no doubt about it, after all you have only 24 hours in a day and you have to sleep, eat, work, go to the gym, do chores, so the poker time has to eat into some other activity. But social life is not really a necessity, like going to the gym for example. Poker is social life, even online poker. Going out with friends, drinking and talking about trivial things is not that beneficial to one's health or well being.

Mostly negative. The problem is you easily spent the money you win, but can't make a decision of spending without money being won - greed. So now I'm starting a new social life - I spent money without poker! And it's not as easy as it seems.

I spend a lot of time in tournaments and for me poker takes a lot of time, there is not enough time to do other things at home, it's really shaking my close people and they start to get nervous and I can not concentrate in poker and at home

Until now i've only seen positive effects from poker, I think it's just about findind a point of balance, cause the negative effects of it comes when you become too afictionate or addicted to it, as a lot of things in life, so it becomes the center of thoughts at every moment, and when this happens, all you wanna talk about is poker and poker and poker, so you become the person who only talks about it and only thinks about it, which is not nice for the social part.
Obviously, thinking about poker constantly can bring some bad things to your life, but knowing how to control it can bring a lot of benefits, by the time that poker is the root of a lot of investiments and logic, and also, you can get better on the game proportionally as the much you think about the hands you've played and stuff

It is positive cause I can say yes to home games and feel comfortable in my ability. The only time it is negative is if I say no to a social occasion in order to play. I have learnt a little bit in some situations to prioritise socialising and that Poker will always be there next week. Breaks away from the table help my game anyway.

poker positively affects my social life for sure. i play with my friends a lot and its a good time. normally no one gets salty enough for any love loss. they only thing it sometimes negatively affects is my bank account xD

It's hard for me to answer this question, and hardly anyone of the players will notice the changes (of course, if the changes in life are not very large). I think from the side vidnee.vashy changes will soon notice your friends, than you yourself!
