I'm pretty chilled about everything.
I like to think I don't let bad beats affect me so I don't really tilt.
But what I have noticed is an increased heart rate when I get to a showdown regardless of how much money is in the pot.
Is this a thing with all players?
I guess I just get excited when I think I've got a good hand.

I play poker online, but I started playing a cash game at home with friends, and I noticed that my heart rate increased in a hand I was playing. Didn't realize it's not online!

Of course you get excited every time something different happens, but I try to keep my composure, so as not to fall into the idea that you are looser or play poorly when you have an advantage in Chips.

Hello.
In fact, the only place where I worry about the result at the showdown is the team league. I worry every time it comes to the autopsy, because the team result depends on the outcome of the autopsy.
This season, I almost stopped watching the games of my team-mates, because I worry about their games as well as my own.

If I play only for myself, the outcome is not particularly important to me, since these are freerolls and I will not lose anything.
Especially since I don't really strive to win.

Poker rarely affects my pulse, it only rises when I approach a high finish in a tournament

Those nerves when you play live poker are something unique. It makes you beat faster, your heart shows what you're made of. Always be firm with your game and your decisions.

May be anxiety. Until certain level is good that adrenaline, but if goes too high you need to start re-thinking on how you are playing or seeing the game... Even more if you play live poker games.

When I play poker, I almost always have a stable heart rate. And when I have aces or some other good cards and lose a hand, my heart rate does not increase. But as soon as I get to the final table of a tournament, everything changes immediately. Even unimportant hands affect my body and my heart rate is constantly fluctuating. I can't explain it, I think it's probably the money I can win for the first place that affects me, that's why I'm worried

you just have to play more tournaments to make this fortune go away but it will come again and again when you level up when you play more and more expensive tournaments it will come back from time to time so this is normal but when you play a lot of games on the same level it will take place

That's pretty normal. Then you win the hand and the next hand you get is another premium pair and you nearly don't want to play it in case you loose what you just won 😋

That uncertainty at the showdown and pride if your decision was good is exactly why I enjoy playing poker. Once you win, once you lose. It's better than sitting by the TV and watching a boring movie with heart rate 33 ;)

One of my goals is to not let the heart and my emotions to get caught by others playing live and online...
