If I only compare this two players I think Daniel is better, Gus hasn't improved his skills so well in the last couple of years. Daniel is great, especially his reading skills, but there are some others that are on the same or higher level...

Daniel Negranu. Not only is he a good play, but he has a genuine love for the game. I learned a lot about him on the KidPoker doc (on Netflix). A few months ago I picked up one of his books, it was a good read.

Daniel I think is the better player then Gus but Gus plays a much more interesting style nearly impossible to be profitable and I feel his image is probably more feared due to his even more loose style.

seems like when he is making a bad call he knows it.
Gus is very good so I'm like variance for Gus has been bad recently.
I think this happens to a lot of players.Some players are able to move up and the variance seems non important.
