The answer is too subjective without specific criteria. Are we talking number of tournaments won, number of bracelets, total amount of earnings, head-to-head winners, cash game winners or ... what?
daniel negreanu is the most entertaining player to watch these days
as for better player, look at the facts
just look at both records, if im not wrong daniel has the most tournament money earning in history, as for cash game its hard to know cause we really all just saw them playing in famous TV poker series which is about 1% of their cash game playing time
i always cheer for negreanu just because he donate so much to poor people and etc
Both are very skilled with any hand. Negreanu has six bracelets, Hansen has none. But your question is: Better is which sense? Respect? Popularity? Influence? More money?
Of course Daniel I don't think you can get any better with consistency than with Negreanu. I swear I have never seen a player able to call opponent's hands so accurately like Daniel Negreanu and he does it so effortlessly it's amazing to watch! He is a perfect example of what practice and dedication in poker can do, and better yet he is a humble guy who admits these things as being the contributing factors to his success.
I guess you play with the cards that are dealt. On any given night, one will certainly outplay the other. In terms of TV audience, I find Daniel's persona to be more charismatic. Then again, it is a biased comment.
both are very good , but for me personally Daniel is good, very often feels set and fold top pair , reading opponents , great bluffs , really great titles by Daniel , and at the same time fun.I think it will long talk about this man
Daniel Negreanu for sure.
Gus Hansen seems to be frozen in time. Apparentelly he doesn't improved/evolved his game in the last years while Negreanu is always trying to improve his game, in all aspects of it: math, theories, mind ...
