It dependst how you are playing, you can play poker without any strategy, just go all in everytime and maybe you will win some hands.. and you can play roulette with good strategy and win really big cash

Poker can hardly be called a game of skill. Masters are in sports, in any other kind of activity, but not in poker. Madam LUCK rules the ball here!

I have the impression that poker coin flips is similar to playing roulette betting on colors (black or red). Where are the skills here?
You only talk about pre-flop all-in situations. This is not all poker, it is a small part of it. You should use all the skill postflop, read the range of the opponent’s hands and play only in profitable situations.:jd4::jd4:

It all depends on the odds being laid to us in order to gain a +EV edge if we can. Is there dead money in the pot before the flip occurs? Do we have a 55 v 45 range advantage in the flip? Is the Pot giving us 2.25 odds in a cash game on a 50:50 flip? Do have better knowledge about our opponent than she has against us?

Yeah, variance rules, and in tournaments we often just have to get it into the middle on a hope and a prayer if we get short stacked. Before that, we can play for small edges. That's why we need to think and play long term. Gather up many small edges over time.
