Guy I know told me the 3/6 and 5/10 tables were juicy so I figured wtf and sat. I did 2 3/6 and 2 5/10 FR tables, played for about an hour. Of course nothing really exciting happened, up like 200ish.

Most exciting hand:

All in all pretty boring, but I felt good and definitely not out of my comfort zone. Not sure whether I'll do it again soon or not, but obviously has to be at least one fish and and the regs there have to not be super-solid crushers (I actually had 1k+ hands on several of the regs from 200nl and two I knew a bit about from 400nl). Anyway it's after 5am here, sleep time.

Almost recovered from my Jan downswong, which wasnt really a big downswong, (well for me it was 20 buyins !! at FR). I-Poker is weird at the moment as well, every session feels like im running like crap, but when I check at the end, I'm turning a small profit almost every day. My $400 deposit is now $1100 with $400 bonus money still to clear, and some VIP cash coming my way at the start of the month. I will deposit the max on stars as well, and whore out that after the i-poker one is cleared. Then fcuk any site that isnt giving me either rakeback or a jucy deposit bonus for the rest of the year.

Warm-up tomorrow, and million if i can swing monday morning off :)

Fun with the regs

Villain is a decent 100nl reg. I'm spewing a little preflop, but i'm pretty confident my turn play is +EV here. :D

Just being picky here, but villain in side pot was 32/0/1.8..and I can only assume he's drawing here...obviously I want him in there on the turn, so probably shoulda just shoved the ~$6 in there..still biggest pot for me ever.

Not trying to steal your thunder, shrog, but I've had three sets of quads this week. I've only been playing between 2-4 tables so this has to be rare to get that many. Also had a Royal the other day also. Too bad none of this kind of luck turns into money though. I'm down like 7 b/i's on the week.

Still not possible imo.

nah, id be willing to bet a large amount against, but i think he his only taking action from phil gordon who put up 60k or something. He needs to play like 17 hours a day at 3pt/bb

lol 13 buy-ins a day. Even at 5 PTBB/100 he'd need to play 13k hands/day which is a 403k hand month

bleh ran like absolute death yesterday at 200nl. Just unfathomable really. vs one guy i literally had him spike a set on the turn when i had an overpair in a 3B pot, he TWICE PEELED THE FLOP WITH A GUTSHOT IN A 3B POT AND HIT BOTH TIMES on the turn when i had TPTK and something else and he flopped a set in a 3B pot in another situation. He also won a 3B pot with T high coz i didn't think i had enough left on the river get to get a fold out of anything and sadly my 6 high or w/e wasn't good. I was shown a set 5-6 times, not to mention the times they must have hit when i folded and i didn't get close to hitting a set nor being good in a 3B pot all day. W$SD was like 33% or something.

So i decided **** this i can't run bad forever so i played some nl400 HU and was met right away with flopped set > TPTK in a 3B pot (22...like how can you call pre with that :S) and insta leave. Ended up winning a $1200 pot vs the other guy tho for a marginally positive first nl400 session. So that was a fun -$900 day.

Then this morning played some nl200 and again ran like death (guy gets it in on turn with 9 outs pretty quick after starting the session). So decided after runningl ike i have in nl200 my confidence there is shot so gave 400nl another go and pretty soon lost another stack where TP2ndK < 12 outs all in on the turn.

Then fortunately villain's stopped flopping the nuts every hand and i won $2000 in 200 hands. So marginally up over the two days i guess but yea kidna sick of this coz my W$SD over my last 10k hands is only marginally above 40% and the vast majority of my money comes from SD pots. Just demoralizing not being able to vbet thin coz villain's always are showing me the top of their range and i'm probably mostly at the bottom of mine. Not sure if i'll stick with nl400. Think i might just mix in nl200 and nl400 and table select a little at nl400 (tho played a reg and he was where i made most of my money - most of the nl400 regs play nl200 anyways and in any case few of them sit with you so...).

ye played a SNE at some 2/4 HULHE coz i rock, went on a massive heater for like 40 bb's, heater than ended and he handed me my ass on a plate, so i run away after getting destroyed and netted a 2 bb profit :)

Why did you even move to sngs? I can't see how the hourly rate could possibly compare to cash unless you are like crushing $100+.

Even if you made like $4 avg/game (8% roi for $50s) and you can play what like 8-10 games an hour? Could make that with probably less swings at nl100, even if you were really bad.

coz i like playing omaha h/l sng's :(, also, a 15% roi is much more likely, which is closer to 8$ a game + i average id say 10 game san hour, so thats $80 an hour. but stars also ahve 100$ games running, just with less traffic, and full tilt have up to $500 buyins running

Well even tatta only has marginally over $8/game (playing $55s and $100s?) so i think it is fair to say that that isn't a particularily realistic goal. If $80/hr is what the best midstake H/L sng player manages, that really is not much at all IMO since $80/hr is managable even at nl100 (2 tabling @ 8BB/100).

Granted if you want to play H/L you don't have much of a choice, but idk i just don't see sngs being as profitable unless you can play a really sound game while playing many tables.

I win, by far. In my last 12k hands I've had quads 7 times, and flopped a straight flush.

last 16 times i've seen a flop with AK i've missed. every single time (not sure the odds of this, but must be ridiculous). yet either 12 or 13 of the the last 15 times i've had a pocket pair, it's come an A with no set. how the **** is this possible? holding one of the out doesn't make that big of a difference, jesus christ

There is no way this should be 3:1. More like 5:1 IMO.

We should take side action just on CC. Problem is i'm not sure who would fund the "support WCG" camp.
