So I wanted to know if you all share your funds with your partners when it comes to the online roll..
Personally, I believe a bankroll is a lot like a toothbrush. I'll buy you 20 toothbrushes, one of those fancy electric ones, a waterpik, whatever you want. You lost yours? Here, have another new one. I'll even get you one of those ten packs from Costco.
But this one's mine, so please just leave it alone.
Seriously, in my opinion, good poker is impossible without good bankroll management and good bankroll management is impossible when money is going out for other purposes.
If you're serious about playing, you should really have your own bankroll. Then you can each monitor how each of you is really doing. The bankroll is the bottom line, so to speak. We all BS about our play or how good we are, but the bankroll over time
tells the true story. If you mess with that, then there's no real way to gauge how your game is going.
That said, if a tourney is starting and a quick transfer of funds is needed, then fine. Just be sure that that money is replaced so the man can keep track of his progress. If I had a floating bankroll with money from it being used to buy groceries, other people's buy ins, etc., I don't think I could play.
So share your finances, but use your own toothbrush and use your own bankroll!
(LOL, I hope you can see the humor in this, but still, I think it's true!!)
