Really what you are doing is demanding that you deserve 50% of the funding he has for his hobby. I'm sure you delegate more funding to one of your own hobbies and he can just as rightfully demand 50% of that.

If you really want to get the better of him then stick around here, make a small deposit, and run it up.

I share my bankroll with friends seach would have had to ask for money from a friend, I think that these are the best friends to lend as necessary.
I gave a friend $ 250 loan, then he give me $ 275 for service.
I think there is nothing wrong :)

First of all my wife doesn't play poker, but if she did I wouldn't let her share my BR, I have trouble keeping it alive let alone let her lose it.

Me and my partner both play poker (he actually get me interested in poker)...Now I always ask him for poker money (because truth is he don't deposit on any account), and he hasn't in a long time, but he has money because of (Cards-Chat games), on different sites, now today, he played a game and he won not a-lot of money but not a-little money either.

Now he's my husband, I tell him to give me some money, and now he says no, I'm not going to give you money and do like he did? I don't think that's fair or right at all, he should share because I would share with him...

So I wanted to know if you all share your funds with your partners when it comes to the online roll..

He says he shared enough times with me, and his brother, and I say I don't care, your money is mine and I deserve half of it (Since it's free money he won, it's not like he actually worked hard for this right)? I mean he won yes, but come on, I only want 50% of it, not all of it, and it would be the last time I tell him...

So I'm going to ask this from the community to be as honest as possible, and your answers could change his mind somewhat..
If he won the money in CC games then HE DID work hard for it, trust me.

.
Yeah how long is a while that's the real question...Usually $5 lasts about 3 days give or take so I figure a month at max and who knows maybe she binks a big one (Shit even a blind squirrel can bust a nut once in a while right)?
What sites and time of day does she play:p

.

My wife does not play poker but if she did she would be on her own as far as bankroll is concerned. I pretty much built all my bankrolls on various sites up from nothing and the thought of sharing that with anyone even my wife would be Arggghhh!!!!!!!

I'm not a winning player that's the thing, I just work up little by little over sometime, while she just sits with the entire B.R and does her thing that's all.

Also I have no issue with giving her money (It's annoying more like it+she demands it) it's the fact that she chooses to play say the .50 360 mans and than I have to here her complain to boot about say losing to a bad beat, while she's playing a-couple of zoom tables, and also register'd for another tourney while watching a soap opera with Hindu blasting on the T.V, that is the issue, because to her the money came from a free roll so why not share it, because it's free is her mentality towards it (Get my drift now). And if you do share it, well she'll lose it because she doesn't stop while she's ahead get it now, and when she's losing she wont stop at all either because of tilt understand it, but if she wins she'll rub it in my face, now do you get it?
If your wife, gf, grandma or brother is going to sink your roll playing shitty poker you are better off telling them to kick rocks and get a job to work for their own roll.

A very amusing thread. My wife plays poker - no where near as much as I do but we do have a deal where we share 50/50 any winnings we may have. We do this on a daily basis and it has to be profit of $20 or over.

Thus if I am $22 up on a given day, I will transfer $11 to her and vice versa. We also do this in live poker and the other week, I broke even in a cash game but she was £450 up which was pleasant for me. :)

So I wanted to know if you all share your funds with your partners when it comes to the online roll..

Personally, I believe a bankroll is a lot like a toothbrush. I'll buy you 20 toothbrushes, one of those fancy electric ones, a waterpik, whatever you want. You lost yours? Here, have another new one. I'll even get you one of those ten packs from Costco.

But this one's mine, so please just leave it alone.

Seriously, in my opinion, good poker is impossible without good bankroll management and good bankroll management is impossible when money is going out for other purposes.

If you're serious about playing, you should really have your own bankroll. Then you can each monitor how each of you is really doing. The bankroll is the bottom line, so to speak. We all BS about our play or how good we are, but the bankroll over time tells the true story. If you mess with that, then there's no real way to gauge how your game is going.

That said, if a tourney is starting and a quick transfer of funds is needed, then fine. Just be sure that that money is replaced so the man can keep track of his progress. If I had a floating bankroll with money from it being used to buy groceries, other people's buy ins, etc., I don't think I could play.

So share your finances, but use your own toothbrush and use your own bankroll! :)

(LOL, I hope you can see the humor in this, but still, I think it's true!!)

I think he worked very hard to build his BR (almocar everybody here knows that) and I don't think his wife should take his BR and just throw it away.
But I can see his point of avoiding figthing with her.

My wife does not play poker, but even from my last 400$ winning on PKR she wanted - and got - half of it to spend it on a shopping day. So I m used to give her half of my poker money. for her my BR is a steady income if I m winning. :D:D:D

Ok... This way I can agree with you!
I just don't agree sharing the BR so she can spend playing poor poker

I let my wife sit down once at a limit table .25/.50 once with $20 out of my bankroll and it was funny to watch but a total disaster. She really didn't have any idea what she was doing and lost it all. She kicks my butt in Gin Rummy though.

I think each family takes it on its own merits. She sounds like high maintenance, and you will pretty much have to live with 50/50 split of your winnings unless you want to fight every single instance. I mean, you got married, you should share everything. If she won the lotto for 1 million tomorrow, I am sure you would appreciate the same gesture.

I know some gambling couples, one of my closest goes to the casino and shares all of their winnings (but not the losses) right down the middle, be it BINGO, slots, horse racing, etc. I will admit sometimes the husband tells me, don't tell the wife I won $500 at the races yesterday :)

Your account is not password locked? How did she find out about your funds? Did you talk about your poker winnings? Your fault if you did. Give her the money and find a way to hide your accounts.

what insane man told his wife he had money????!!!
