I think it must be pretty cool to play live. Just I got online experience but wanted to have a live feel.

I played live only in childhood. And I guess the live game is much different from online games.

I like to play online more as I could do other things while playing. It gets boring playing live.

I played in a live casino a long time ago about ten years ago when in our city it was free to play casinos and I won well, but then in the city they closed all the clubs where I could play and I crossed to online poker and play there and sometimes I win when any of my cards play well with me, but now we have clubs back where we can play live tournaments and play for money and maybe I will try to play again

I always play online but once I had the chance to play a live tournament and the adrenaline that is lived is indescribable !! In my opinion, with the little experience I have in live tournaments, I prefer to play live

Yes it's much harder, you can see people's actions live were all you see online is a screen name

Live poker is different, the number of hands you play is much less than online, so you must analyze each game in all its individuality, which is different from playing several tables at once, as in poker in line.
You have to learn to notice the gestures of the opponents, especially if you play regularly with them.
You have to know the rules of the casino where you play, which can reach at some point the traditional Texas holdem.
You must be aware when it is your turn to play, you must learn the handling of live chips, which is quite simple and you get it only through practice.
Greetings.

In person vs. Online is like comparing night and day. In person is so much more personal...lol, there are aspects of the game and opponent that you have to analyze in order to win. Give me in person any day!

It is so much easier to play live, at least for me. The face to face element is not present during an online session and people tend to play WAY looser online. I can't begin to tell you how many times a day I face a ridiculous beat. I'm still trying to figure out a more sustainable winning online strategy

I suspected that online playing got more chances to think about technical skills, live poker was good to learn other players and their styles of feeling the game process.

I am sure that playing live is much more difficult than online. I have the opportunity to take part in live tournaments, but I prefer the game online.

To answer your question

the difference in live games and online games are very different the reason why I say that you're not going to go to a casino in find a tournament for $1 like you will online most of the casinos host a $50 end up buying not all of them are 50 sometimes you can come across ones that are 20-30 bucks but I've never really seen any poker tournament at the casinos for less than 20 $30 now when you go online you don't get to see the players reactions what they are doing so it's hard to determine what they really have you have to do it based upon the way they bet or the way they play when you're playing live you can actually see everything about them how they move their chips how if they're sweating you know every little bit of movement the kind of tell what type of hand they have so it's easier to win and live in my own opinion it's a little harder and online but when you combine both skills together you can become great at both

It is different. Online is much faster, you play a larger volume of hands. Live some people take so much time it can become boring. In live poker you can sometimes read people's reaction, you can't see that online. Plus, you know, always the doubt: is online poker rigged or how random is the RNG really? In live poker you see the dealers shuffle and deal the cards.

I prefer live

I play online poker most of the time because where I live nor many people play poker and it is not really popular. I like to play live poker with some of my firend when we go to a party or just in my house and is really fun we spend a really good time but I play online poker the most and I guess it is the best. I would like to play a live tournament and see what happend but I haven't had the opportunity but I imagine it is really cool. Basically I prefer online poker because I can play it from my home and play more tables and more hands.

I haven't played live in a casino yet either, but I think one of the differences I hear a lot is the initial raise sizing people use preflop is typically larger than the 2-3BB raises you see online. I believe it is because people live tend to call a lot more with weaker hands (probably because they get bored because live play is slow). So when you raise preflop with stronger hands, you'd rather not end up like 5 callers. So good live players tend to raise larger to discourage a bunch of callers preflop.

Casino play much slower, tables are crowded and lots of distractions. However, usually lots of fun.

i think the basic difrences are that you can see the gesture of your opponent, in online, you dont know haw he reacts. basicly that.
