I have never played live, but I am not sure I could take such a slow paced game. 30 hands an hour would probably make me tilt from boredom.

I have never played live. The pace of online means it is probably preferred for me, although it is obviously lacking in the social aspect.

I will always prefer Live games to playing on-line, I have made quite a few Final Tables in Live games, because I do get reads on other players, which help me to get into the money and when I play Cash Games I have sometimes walked away with a lot more money than I would playing in a Tournament.
Playing on-line at home is just too hard to get reads on players, it is almost impossible because you cannot see their faces, or body language, the only thing that you can get a read on is their betting pattern, and that is really not enough.
On-line Poker is fun, I keep the stakes low and play just because I enjoy playing, and I have never made a deposit on any site I have tried, I just use the money I win from free-rolls and go from there.

When the fun Stops, STOP!

I prefer to play online. Although I have never played live. By the way, the opponent's actions can also be tracked online. You only need to install the allowed poker software.

I really love people and communities. Maybe poker is the only expection in my life where I say online is better for me.
The reason is online its all about the pure game. And you can do many activities in a long session like eating, drinking, listening music, having 5 minutes breaks in every hour etc.
In live the game is even slower and people are literally have to act with their body. I've never played live tournament, but for that reason I haven't been interested in it.

I hope this opinion is of help to all poker players, but even though live play is much better than online, I would choose online because nowadays, we will see more hands in an online game than in a real game, and without comparing with the comfort of your home or the place where you play, where you can have better moments of relaxation.

I prefer live games and believe that they are far easier than online games.

YEs ! i find it more entertaining at live talbe games, the interaction with the whole table, although the slow plays seems eternal you can geat a good view of opponent tells and improve your game in more explotative ways

I play much better poker when it’s a live game. I tend to play stupid n bluff a lot online for some reason. When I’m at a casino I am dialed in n ready to play but when I’m just looking at a screen it doesn’t seem real

I haven't played live in years. But with this online I can tell you that I prefer online much much more. The gameplay is so much faster and it's just more flexible and convenient. I love the fact when I go on break from work I can actually pull out my phone and quickly turn $200 into $800 and go back to work and make money from my actual job. You can't beat that.

Live. Poker is like a sport, just like growing up you spent a lot of money playing ice hockey and invest in it and train; poker is the same you train invest and majority off the time people just spend a lot of money playing a sport or you can say game they love!

My point is you want to be on the ice playing, not on PlayStation. So I would say live.

I prefer to play live poker, because it's much better to play with seeing and hearing somebody. I think it's easier to read somebody when you can see the person against you playing.

I think that the pace of live poker is too slow, and there are not enough hands at the same time.
In addition, online poker is not restricted by time or place. Therefore, I prefer online poker.

Has both advantages and disadvantages. While it is more convenient to simply play online at home, a live poker game is more interesting. In a live poker game you have to watch the reactions of your opponents very closely with every flop while you always have to make sure to pull a poker face yourself. Of course there are also opportunities to read your opponent's hand in online poker. You may also have notes and statistics about your opponent. This can be very useful in some situations. Delayed bets or calls usually indicate a good hand. The opponent wants you to believe that he might not have such a good hand while holding a monster. Nevertheless, the information is thin. Your opponent can also simply be distracted or watch tv on the side

I really want to play poker at a table with real people. It's much more interesting than just pressing buttons on a computer or smartphone while sitting at home or at work.

I like both, but I don't have many chances to play live poker. Maybe in future.
