Do You Ever Get Bored of Poker?

If I got tired of poker and stopped playing it for one to two weeks but it was more than anything because of a bad streak that I had been having that I also decided to take a break, there I put more study and desire than ever

You just sometimes need a break, but thats with everything in life.

I get worn out but not bored, some times its best to take a break for afew days even if winning. I know -ev but gotta keep ontop of that mental health and stay 100% balance is key with anything.

Till now i didnt get bored, and im talking about 12years of consecutive play.
im in my 20s, and what poker is giving me in return of winnings every 20 year old wish, and actually love the game. so after many years i might get bored or play less.

When i lose a tourney in late game or final table, i can get bored of poker, cause im too lazy to start another one

I had been building my bankroll with patience and care, until I had to get all the money because I needed it. Now I have returned to freerolls but I don't feel the emotion I used to feel. The only game where I do is in the league. I guess in a way I get discouraged having to play three or four hours for $20.

Yes, it gets boring sometimes, which makes you play badly. So, if you're bored, just don't play. Come back when you know you can play with joy and are motivated to win.

Every once in a while.
Especially during downswings...
Loosing all day long isn't that much fun...

Then i take a break.
And after a couple of days or weeks i will
feel like playing poker again.

To be honest I felt. Play it for fun or take it seriously, there's a limit for every hobby. Best to have more to be able to change them if you are bored in one, and come back when you need the feeling that it can give you.

It happens to me when I play a lot and especially if I have little chance of winning, on the other hand when luck is good it is more fun!
Stop playing for a while, do other things, is what clears me up, I gather energy and try again!

Basically now I play Saturday Sunday , the other days I am donkeyig around , having fun before I sleep , I might play a very important freeroll or only one freeroll or only game , or very little casino , thta's the schedule , to start little by little the study , more and more seriously . I need more solutions to my game .

This annoys me a lot , this irritation for this postponement , this boredom , I saw it yesterday in my game $5.50 , I literally lifted my hands up and abandoned the game , I was so frustrated cause i chickened up 3-4 hands before with QJs 6max 20 bigs , didn't raised UTG 2.5 , flop came 8910 , not being results oriented , ok , maybe 30% yes , but , QJs , not a bad hand , now if sb shoved to my raise I do not know , I still think for a flip 6 max 2 bigs wouldn't be so bad .....anyway , , so when I got A10 , with 20 bigs I was ready to go with , and I went , I went to sleep , lol ....


Now , with this program , only weekend any serious poker , the other day free for study or else other things , I feel better , it's the first step . I have some tickets to play next weeks , I have to keep some activity in the poker roooms not to lose some coins or tickets or whatever , I will see I believe it's good not to play everyday , or take a break sometimes , good for the mind , good for the health , good for the study of the game , good for your life
