Do you eat before playing poker?

With me, it's actually rather the opposite. Especially before longer tournaments with higher buy in, I usually make sure not to go in hungry because my concentration level could potentially drop faster otherwise.

With freerolls, on the other hand, I don't really care, I play them more on the side for fun.
But you shouldn't eat too much either, because otherwise you could get quite sleepy.

I try to make a snack so that it doesn't distract me later, and in general I like to have some goodies at hand, and of course coffee.

I try to do all my things, including eat, take a bath, so that nothing distracts me during the game

But I can still make a few sandwiches if I have a lot of tables and it will be before morning.
