Do you drink alcohol when you play poker?

Is that Matcha or is Matcha its own thing entirely?

I mostly drink normal black tea in the way we British tend to -- a bit of milk and sugar sweeteners. Bad for my stomach and actually bad for play. My genuine interest in poker is a reason why I'm trying to properly quit my artificial sweetener habit and get used to water but I might try some Japanese green tea, instead.

So I always thought they were the same bc I've tasted matcha before & they literally taste the same, aside from maybe some subtle differences I've just read.. So apparently Matcha is just Green tea in it's powdered/grounded form as opposed to being more leafy which enhances the taste/smoothness etc.. I highly recommend it anytime throughout the day! & as you've mentioned, no sugar etc so being able to constantly refill & not worry bout all that is real sweet!!(Pun intended) Good luck!!

No, because drinking can disrupt the game and make the player sleepy. Except that in tournaments that last for hours, the player must maintain maximum concentration, as a wrong move can cause the player to leave the tournament.

i do sometimes drink when play. i must say if buzzin i get brave and that doesnt fair well for my stack. without a doubt on the days u feel best u play best. in my own experience. look good feel goood play good lol.

When it's relaxed and fun, I can afford to have a few drinks. I drank during the session when I met the new year.
Perhaps if you play serious tournaments, then at a distance, if you drink often, it can even negatively affect your game.

Mix Alcohol with poker and watch your profits disappear as your decision making is effected in one way or another. To each his/her own, if it works for you keep doing it and if it doesn't rethink it.

I've had a single beer when I play. I prefer not to drink when I play, I prefer to concentrate without drinking. I think it is possible to drink moderately without losing concentration, in my case I prefer not to.
