My respect and good luck to you in online poker. This is the first time I meet a person who has been playing poker for 59 years.(y)
Thank you very much and I'm happy to be the first one you've met. :) I'm sure though that you have played with players who probably had more years at the table, but online you have no way of telling age. :)

My mother loved playing cards and taught me to play gin rummy and cribbage when I was seven, or maybe a little younger. When I was eleven I became interested in poker, probably due to the poker games I'd see watching television westerns. So on Saturday nights she and my father taught me how to play it before we watched Gunsmoke. From that time on not many years passed that I didn't play at least a few games of poker. :)

I am 45 and have been playing for about 20 years. My brother introduced me and I liked poker and I still enjoy poker so I keep playing, it has become a very important part of my life and probably will be for the rest of my life.I am very thankful I found poker with help from my brother.I have never made a deposit,my bankroll started with freeroll payouts. My main focus is to play poker I enjoy, when I win I win and when I loose I learn and become a better player.Playing poker is the best way to become better at poker.See you at the poker tables.

Certainly! People in the age range of 40-60 often enjoy playing poker. It's a popular and strategic card game that appeals to a wide range of ages.

Hi,

Is there anyone here who's between the ages of 40-60?

I want to ask some questions about getting into poker at a later stage in life. Maybe you can tell me how you got introduced to poker and how long you've been playing?
I started playing about 7 years ago. I'm 49 now, so I was about 42 when I started. I'm happy to share my experience and answer your questions. If you're just starting out, my only advice is don't spend your own money on the game. Just build your bankroll by playing freerolls. Membership in our community will be the best foundation for you. All you need now is to acquire the status of a platinum member. Read more here:
While you're working towards your platinum level, turn your attention to our free course. For any beginner who is serious about the game, this course is simply a fundamental basis for further development.

Yes I'm playing. 44 here.

Played a long time go in the early 2000s. Stopped playing after a year or two and picked it up again recently.

There's no age to start!! Poker is for everyone!! I'm 40 now and I've been playing recreationally with my friends for twenty years. However, I just started playing live games in casinos and I noticed that players tend to be a little older

I'm 32, I play poker about 5 years ago, I started completely alone, I've left some time due to lack of motivation, but I think I'll always play it again, this game is very exciting, I hope to one day be a professional player.

I didn't start playing until my mid-40s. I started because friends from work were in a poker league and I wanted to join in. I agree with those above who have said that age is not a defining characteristic for playing poker.
