I remember doing that back in the early days when I had naive beliefs about poker and such. Ever since I took poker more seriously - not a single drop!
I think I play better with a couple of beers in me. I'm more relaxed and don't feel pressure to "perform", even online. When playing with friends for low stakes that's more social so I'll drink. But when I've had more than a couple and I'm playing online that's when I tend to lose more than win.
Hi all,,,drinking alcohol whily playing poker is really a bad thing....as you are playing a tournament you need full clear mind to make your decisions....so alcohol drives you out....not alcohol and poker together
I may have a drink or two but not much more than that every 2-4 hours depending on how long I am playing. But generally not looking to get a buzz let alone drunk.
When I play online I never drink, but when I go to the real table casino I drink a glass of fernet or a wisky in the rocks, it helps me to relax a little and I play better sometimes lol
Most of my opponents would play MTT heads-up so much better if they would take some shots and gather some courage to play. Usually I just blind them out
Nope, i don't drink. Drank a lot of beers in high school but when i became old enough to buy it myself i lost interest. Who knows maybe the liquid courage would help me bluff fearlessly in some crazy spots. Don't think i ever drank and played poker before.
