Quick little update. Just hit 20k hands this month, putting me well on pace to hit 50k for the month. Also just did the math, if I get to 10NL in time to play ~20k hands there this month, I have a shot at making SilverStar. $25 more till 10nl. 25NL by the end of the month, imo.

Northern part of the state. About an hour north of Wausau. And no, the snow isn't melted yet, probably about 2 more weeks before it's gone.

Ok, time for an update. I haven't played at all yet today, but plan on grinding out a load of hands later. The past week went really well until yesterday. I had enough to take a shot at 10NL. Naturally I ran like total garbage, KK<AA 3 times on the day, couldn't win a showdown, c-bets constantly getting raised by fish, the works. So a nice -$40 day, and I'm back to 5NL for the time being. Yesterday was actually my first losing day this month since the 1st, and I only played like 80 hands or something that day.

I feel like I've been playing pretty well so far, but not as good as I could be playing. I think I'm going to showdown a bit too light in small pots and being a little too aggressive in some spots with one pair hands. I'm gonna try to schedule some time this week to watch a few videos and get myself on track. So without any further ado, the graphs :

Keep grinding man!!! The graph is going up, you're doing good!!! I'm having the same probablem at 10nl, seems like I can't win a showdown. I can't get anyone to play when I raise 4 x with AA. I get tons of action with KK, and an A always flops... go figure!!!! Keep up the good work!!!

So I played another session of 10NL this morning. Went much better than the last time. Session got cut a little short so only like 400 hands, but a nice $27 Profit. Plus, now I'm only like 10 FPP's away from another shot at a 210 Satty, which is generally an easy T$11. Look at me go :

Well, i gotta say thats something we all should be doing. I wish you
the best of luck in your games. one thing though, ive found that the
cash games is the best place in my opinion to start a bankroll rather
than the multts. sure you can make alot more money if you get First
place in a multt, but its just so much easier playing the cash games.
Especially late at night on absolute poker when everyonesn drunk and
just making avoidable mistakes. thats how i first started out. anyways
