I am not using it cause I only play at 4 tables most of the times. But I bet its very useful for players who multitable a lot more tables, so its not that hard to differ a color of cards when tables are really small.

4 color decks are awesome. I love when TV shows uses the 4 color card visual for viewers. I saw the 4 colors used once for high stakes poker.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9syUG-M3K-Y

^^ You can skip halfway through to see they even use 4 colors for viewer's to quickly notice the suits.
---

I don't mind if live poker never uses 4 color decks. I'd just have to adjust for live poker's regular 2 color suits.

as for me, it is a matter of taste of each person. In Holdem, Omaha, Draw game I can not tolerate it. But when playing Stud, she told me something very comfortable. Here again I poprobuvav play Hold'em three hour session with her, it makes me extremely distracted.

4 colour deck is a great thing, especially when you are playing at several tables. I often tend to overlook a flush in haste.

I've never misread a hand in a 2 color deck. I don't see how people do that. poker hands go so slow as it is, so you have plenty of time to look at the cards (not that it takes much time). A 4 color deck is only distracting to me. I hope real cards never make the change.

When you are playing 12-24 tables at the same time. The hands go a lot a quicker.

It does take a little getting use to but like most things once you take the time to get use to it, it is much better.

I have misread a hand more than once with a 2 colour deck therefore, I was rather pleased to have the 4 coloured deck option.

The 2 coloured deck does tell me to pay much closer attention, though. :)

I have recently made the switch to the 4 colour decks and I prefer it heavily. I would be curious to know why other people do not like it.

Most people who have played online (at least from who I talked to) use a 4 color deck. I was listening to the pnpod yesterday and they discussed this and whether it should be used live or at least experimented with. I'm on the side that thinks 4 color decks are just better in every way and I see no reason to not use them online. If I were in charge I'd put them in casinos as well for live play.

I'd say if you have the option, a 4 colored deck is the easy choice. I can't think of a single drawback.

I prefer it so that it reminds me when someone might have a flush draw and it keeps me on alert..has saved me quite a few times

Yeah 4 colour decks are so much easier on the eye. Hopefully they will start making actual playing cards this way as I have kinda got used to 4 colours now !

I feel with the classic deck, I feel more comfortable mentally with that, the 4-color does not draw attention to the hs of seeing them I do not feel pleasure with them

Always play with 4 colored deck,it's much easier.Especially when there are a lot of tables, you don't have to look. And indeed there are many good lay-outs that can be set in the poker rooms.I find it very convenient when the dark background and 4 high profile deck.I advise you to try.

A lot of people say that the 4-color deck helps flush drow visualize faster and easier. However, I did not get used to it so when I went to try to put a 4-color deck I ended up sinking more.

I dont understand why anyone wouldnt use the 4 color deck. It speeds up the game, makes it easier to multitable, and decreases play error

Mega distracting for me,I once bought a deck that was for the visually impaired and it always scrambled my head looking at the colors and the oversized numbers.
I tend to keep everything really simple,if I mess around and alter something I may run into a glitch.
