Who prefers a 4 color deck? Does it help or is it distracting?

I do.
I started using a 4-color deck back in the days I used to play a lot more.
And yeah, for me it helped especially when multitabling and when getting a little tired.

On PS i use only a 4 color deck,helps me because i play many tables.

It all depends on the way your mind works and how comfortable you feel.

Tried several times this type of deck and personally I did not like 4 color.I was distracting and even annoying this type of deck,therefore, only play a standard deck, I'm comfortable with it.

I like to play with 4 colors. It's easier, especially if you play more than one table..

I'm used to the two-color deck, so I prefer it! I played four, it does not distract from the game, just could not get used to it

I prefer 4 deck because It reduce misreading suit while multitabling. And its really hard misread colour.

Used to a 2 colour and find it easy enough so no need to change.

I prefer the normat 2 colour deck. That 4 colours deck really confuses me ...

its good for multitabling... i like the colored cards in pokerstars, not only the suits but i dont like the ones that only change color on suits and the numbers

I like the look of the normal colored deck.

I tried the 4 color but I never really got comfortable with it.

I used 2-color until I moved my TV/Monitor so far across the room that I made my first mistake. I'll be using 4-color going foward, although I hope it doesn't affect live habits.

4 color deck is a must for multitabling! I personally love it because I can play more tables and not have to strain my eyes with wondering if theres 2 clubs on the board or a spade and a club!

I have a few questions for multitable players.Guys, how many tables you are playing at the same time?What size your monitor?And how many tables placed on your monitor?I want to buy a new monitor and wait for your advice

I honestly wish live casinos would switch to the four color decks so I don't have to goo "Is that a spadeee or a clubbb?" all the itme.

I don't like the look of 4 colour desk, it doesn't feel right.
But I've made a couple of mistakes recently when I've not had my glasses on and might need to switch to 4 colour for medical reasons.

Or I could get a bigger screen like _xrolex is asking about; currently I have a 24in widescreen and can happily play 4 tables all visible. If you want to play more tables and "tile" them 24in would be fine (although I have saw people with sharper vision than me 6 table all visible on a 24inch). I am probably going to add another screen rather than get a 1 bigger one.

I got a 17 inch monitor but I can multi-table 12-16 games on it! Obviously the tables are very small so the 4 color deck helps out a lot!

It is so poorly lit in that room and the cards are so hard to see (and I am only 27!)

Used to play 4 color. It's normal for my old eyes. It's hard to play 2 color.

I'm using 4 color deck cuz its better for the eyes.Otherwise the eyes are getting a bit tension...

4 color deck was great when you play 10 tables .. But also better than 2 colors ofc ..

This is definitely something you get used to, you could switch once in a while to refocus your mind. I always notice when I change I am more focused after it again. What most other already said, for seeing flushes 4 color deck is way better. Just do what looks nice to you!

Love four color decks. Wish the casinos would use them.

I still prefer the standard deck, I think I'm better with him so ... but for those who play many tables makes little sense he was more used, makes life easier !!!

I'm comfortable when you play in a tournament for a long time in the eye catches a flush on the flop. It's nice. Or on the turn and river.

I tried it and didn't like it. I don't want to get used to something online that will be a distraction for my live play and vice versa. I don't want to confuse the muscle memory of my brain LOL.

When I play online I ALWAYS prefer a 4 color deck.

4 color decks are wayyy better than the standard ones.

I don't like it but I can imagine it is probably a must if you multi-tabling on 4+ tables for long periods of time, unless ofcourse you have eyes like mine (^^,)

Its much better to play 4 color decks when you play a lot of tables.

Like most posters I do prefer the coloured deck. If you have 4+ tables going on and you've been grinding hours it can be tough to concentrate and make easy mistakes on flush draws. To each their own though, if I was playing 1 table at a time I'd probably go with the classic just because of the feels.

I tried four-color deck on several tables at once lately.Surprisingly, I liked it even.It took a little time to get used to, but it is very convenient and I do not understand why I was annoyed before this type of deck.I played 3 tables at the same time and I felt no discomfort.

Four color deck is a winner for multi-tabling. Once you have acclimated to the change, it is a lot easier for card recognition.

I'd like to try a four color deck IRL. Works so well online...

Never could make the switch to 4 color deck. I fear change.

Personally for me two colors is more than enough. Four colors make me distract. I even don't like them when I see the poker videos with 4 colors deck. But someone love it... For some reason...

I'm curious on how people are finding it distracting?

When I'm on LSD my mind loves the colours they are great, 4 colour all the way for me man.
