First off I'd like to say that this is an awesome way to spark interest into the forums and it really gets people to open up and come together as a group.

But on to the task at hand:

If I had to choose a poker pro to play heads up with it (and especially for the stakes you have described) it would have to be Phil Ivey. Now most people would probably want to play someone for that kind of money that they could easily beat. However if you want to be the best you have to beat the best (in his best event to boot).

I could have easily chosen Hellmuth just because it would have been awesome to play him, beat him and watch the madness ensue, but I'm sure there will come a time for that too. Or Doyle Brunson to pass a story on to my kids that I sat with a poker legend for the ultimate stakes win or lose.

Another few that come to mind would be Gold, Farha, Unger, Reese, Matusow but in my eyes it has to be Phil Ivey. Sure you'd get a good laugh, or a great story by playing with those guys but theres something about Ivey that intrigues me.

I watch alot of poker and theres just something about Iveys' game that separates him from your normal poker player (even the great ones). He has that uncanny ability to put moves on and make plays with no emotion at all. Plus that evil stare down that he puts on you doesnt hurt any either. The bragging rights and the chance to play against someone like Phil are a once in a lifetime opportunity......................

So there it is. Phil Ivey come get some!

For me it would have to be Matusow, because after I start to beat him at poker and his mouth starts a flappin, I would climb over the table and take pleasure in smacking him senseless, then i would rip his head off and s..t down his throat, then calmly sit down and continue to play, and if he continued to flap his gums I would tell him to stop talking s..t then slap him around a bit more. :p :D

As for American Graffiti it was George Lucas who wrote and directed it, you might know him from his other little movie called Star Wars.
Ron Howard who is on the above T shirt was in American Graffiti and then he went on to star in Happy Days, which was a spin off of American Graffiti.

KD :)
I'd have to go with Chris Fergusson. Why? I just feel like we're so alike because people call him "Jesus", and people call me "God", so the HU match could be called "Jesus vs. God". :p

nice posts, so far, interesting ones as well, some of these players I havent heard of, rocco mediate springs to mind, but the strip joint sounds like fun................females right?
going to work now, keep 'em coming, this is day one of 5..........

Rocco Mediate is a professional from Pittsburgh, which is where i am from, who played Tiger Woods in the U.S. Open playoff in which Tiger eventually ended up winning. Hes the typical hardworking man who hasnt really won anything but still works for it.

Also here is my bankroll.

Although my favorite players are Daniel Negreanu and Gus Hansen, I'd have to choose Vicky Coren because I'd just be able to stare at her for awhile.

I'd want to play Clonie Gowen and make sure we had a couple of bottles of wine standing by for her to drink.

I'd play Phil Laak, but only I could have a translator and a Laakctionary close by. He's just fun and full of energy.

Erick Lindgren because I've managed to delude myself into thinking I've got a read on him. Just a couple of little tiny ticks, but they change according to hand strength. That and he's not repulsive so the view wouldn't be nearly as bad as with say, Phil Hellmuth across the table.

Can really pitiful Full Tilt accounts qualify? As in I got impatient and even blew my play chips, but I'll get those back within a week or two and I have zero dollars and one very sad little Full Tilt point. As in bottom of the barrel?

Does the guy in the crocodile suit count as a pro? I'd play with him.

Oh thank you very much. I really didn't expect to win. I was just being honest. Before anyone cracks wise about "Honest poker players", honesty's totally allowed away from the table.

started by a transfer from a CCer, of a small sum of money, ai.
I just donked it up with some luck, and some poker play(more luck), and the right choice of games/tables, ie small stake.
you'll do the same, Lady T, with your hubbie's expert help.
yeah, CC freerolls next week, might even have my poker head on for them, see you there..........................watch my 84os hit.......bye
