Not in a $10 pot.

Well I have no idea of the rake structure. He's talking about getting raked significantly more, but if there was even a small % of a chance of a misclick or something such that the EV of betting was > cost of the extra rake then it would still be correct to shove. So whether the pot gets capped at some amount matters.

If only there was a site that caps the rake in $10 pots :p. Rakes usually capped at $3 at 5% a little less on stars. It's not till your looking at $60 pots that rake begins to be capped.

Shoving that river is pretty much donating 50c to stars.

I have no idea what the rake is on stars. I see they have already took .46. So ...

So you'd rather they take $1.25 than .50?

Assume we check:

EV = (1/2 pot size) = $5.08

Assume we jam:

EV = (% he folds)x(potsize) + (1 - % he folds)x(1/2 potsize - 45c)

So if we want the EV for the jam to be at least $5.08 we need him to fold at least 8.14%. I'll admit that % seems fairly implausible, but it's still pretty low. Not something where I feel like I would have been comfortable calling it one way or the other without doing some numbers.

So you think 0% board misread and 0% misclick?? I'm not saying they are high or even necessarily significant, but I highly doubt that they are zero.

It's not zero but people misclick what once in a thousand hands? Not nearly enough.

Don't waste your time learning a new game for like 3 weeks, get burned out, then come back to nl holdem

Skip the whole process and stick with nl

Unless you want to play PLO....

NL is unbeatable at the moment! I just get my ass crushed every hand.

Besides I'm not looking to stop playing NL, just use another form of poker to mess around with when I need a session break. Thought about PLO but the whole rake>everyone just makes it seem unplausible unless I could afford to learn at like 100NL+.
