I think when the fixed profit was made.

But this idea may be wrong.

If the stack is too deep so when it's no advantage of having deep stack, I quit. Because I don't need to. At the moment the upside of deep stack goes down but the downside of dangerous goes up.

Even when I was playing for good money and winning, the enjoyment factor was my measure of when to step away. I can sit there and play all day long and enjoy it. I have lost good money, but never cared because I was having fun. When it becomes close to an addiction, then I step away. If I am mad or frustrated, I step away. You can win money back, but it is never a good thing if you are sitting there feeling like there is no fun. The stress of a call is exciting to me. I have won quite a bit because of a river and lost some as well. Money is money. There are always ways to make more. Losing your cool because of a hand means your time is up if this is changing you.

If I'm playing well, I keep playing, regardless of win/loss. If I feel like my play is not at it's best, I stop immediately.

I try to play a fixed number of hands. This way, all my sessions should have a similar chance of winning/losing with constant variance.

hello friends when I stop during a cash game, when I see that I lose concentration when losing a hand if I am positive + I leave before when a rookie gets to win a lot and for not knowing when to leave I end up :D losing everything ...

I think you set time/money limits but it does depend on your game/limits. For example when I play limit/pot limit i set time limits because I'm not at risk of losing all my stack in one hand. For no limit i set money limits because no matter how well you are running your whole stack is at risk any given hand.

When you are physically tired and mentally not there any more. And/or if you are on top and scare of losing it all then it's best to cash out.

I would recommend to avoid cash games if you ask such questions. They are most stressful and complicated.

I stop playing when I stop enjoying it. Can be a few reasons. Maybe I wanna do something else, maybe I'm tilting and down a few buy-ins etc. I think setting arbitrary limit like "once I'm up three or four buy-ins" is a bit pointless. If you're playing your best game, the next hand you play is always the next hand you play, regardless of whether it's the same session or next.

This question has probably been asked multiple times on this forum, but what is everyone’s strategy for when to stop playing a cash game? Do you set a certain amount of hands for you to play? Do you stop after you hit a certain profit/loss in game? When you start to feel like you aren’t playing your best? I would describe myself as a numbers guy, as in I want to tell myself “okay, quit until you are up one buy in or you lose your buy-in” or “play until you have x amount of profit or played x amount of hands”. Would love to hear how other determine when to quit, or if it is more of whether or not you are on your A game.

Good day! I can say that I play 5 or more thousand hands per session, or, for example, more than 3 hours in a row (taking only 5 minute breaks once an hour). Finish a game when I feel tired or not playing optimally. Of course, there are times when you have to end the session earlier, because you have already lost, for example, 10 or more bi (so as not to tilt and give yourself some rest).

No Bologna

After you lose 1 buy in or when you win 2x buy ins. I can quit after losing a buy in but have to admit I can't help myself and quit when I've double or tripled.

It all depends on how the game is going. If the cards do not come in, then I end the game.

I think that in addition to everything you said when the game really means a risk to your pocket and the fun is lost

First off all u shouldnt focuse on the winning or louses, you have to set up seassions off an amount off hands or the most used by all is an amount off time usually from 45 min to 1 hour not more tham that.
