I've got mixed reactions to the river card; obviously I'm dead to KQ now but at the same time we get so much value from any Q and possibly a K too that I think jamming our PSB is the best way. He snapped off with AKo (despite now beating nothing that I'm repping) :)

Well your FD is backdoor so he can put you on a missed heart draw, I guess. Should be a really small part of your range given the way the hand played out but who knows if he's even thinking beyond "I has topest pair. Must cawl.".

Is this the type of bluff your talking about?

Or are you wanting more 2 and three barrel stuff?

I have recently added this to my moves: Check the flop and bluff the turn. Although I did turn both a flush and gut-shot draws.

UTG: $5.10
MP: $11.68
CO: $7.30
Hero (BTN): $10.11
SB: $10.00
BB: $16.84

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has A:spade: 7:spade:

UTG calls $0.10, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.45, fold, fold, UTG calls $0.35

Flop: ($1.05, 2 players) 2:diamond: 9:club: 6:spade:

I would prefer you talk about the hand a bit as well. What type of villain, what range you think he has, what he folds that beats you, etc. I'm really looking to spur discussion because like I said it's a (big?) part of the game that seemingly never gets discussed.

Now I have read the thread properly...and realise you are offering a prize!! (this is going to hurt my bankroll).

My hand posted above we had just lost the mark at the table (60/10/1) and everyone else was running as a TAG. I wanted to take advantage of my tight image and steal some pots before leaving the table. I didn't really want to be as involved as I was but the flush draw sucked me in :(

What's the best hand you ever 3bet that flop with?

2+2 theorem, can't remember name - a 3bet on a low paired flop is nearly always a bluff. :D

I'd probably 3bet with 87 though, open ended and flush draws :)

It there a nice way to search for these in my PT3?

Yeah, go in to the filters and set it up for things like no pair or underpair on river. Then add a filter for bet on river. You can then modify to look at turn bets.

Or if you want to see hand where you floated, look for hands with no pair / underpair of flop where you called a bet and then add bet turn.

Just play around with it you'll get it.

Do you ever check back the turn with a strong hand there? Not many hands that you're repping with that one imo.

Also remember I'm looking for discussion, reasoning, ranges, etc., etc.

I'm just saying if he's thinking even a little or if he's not thinking at all it would be pretty easy for him to shove over your 3bet because you're going to have to fold a ton.

Ok let's throw this in. Please note the name of the room was Drool. Seemed appropriate after this gem. And if you want to know what I was thinking..."Wahoo I've got AKs and I can bluff you off anything." Almost:eek: Really though with four to the nut flush maybe this wasn't as big of a bluff as I originally thought:confused:

With 2 overs and a FD your equity against even the range he's calling the shove with is too good for that to be a bluff. Solid value shove imo.

Too bad you've included this > Cash games only. Shoving all your chips in a tourney is easy. I mean it's a tourney, who cares?

I've got some saved HH's with some decent bluffs where stacks are deep in early levels. (you're missing out on some goodies!!!)
