You challenged the very notion that you can profit at the micros. If that doesn't imply a mindset of pessimism concerning the beatability of the microstakes then I don't know what does.

VS, don't spew and you will be fine. There is nothing wrong with occasional reasoned bluff but don't do it vs known stations. If a player is unknown then definitely don't bluff.

What in the world would make you assume he has bad stats? Nothing he did here is wrong in the slightest. To recap: He opened the button with J6s (standard -- remember this is the button we're talking about), then flatted a resteal for another 4bb, in position, against an opponent who was 240BB deep.

@Vynil, 3bet much much larger pre. I would honestly not see anything wrong in making it $1 -- you're deep, so you need to protect your equity against spec hands that will see a flop for almost any 3bet quantity (which is exactly what happened). Your 3bet range being strong is actually very good for him because it means when he hits hard (which will happen about 10% of the time) given that he has position and you have initiative, he stacks you.

I agree with this here, he either has overpair which he wont fold or the deuce hit him lol.

Either way this is definitely not a standard play/ line from you or villian and personally I am not turning king high into a bluff at 5NL vs a fish who didn't fold to 13 BB bet on the flop then led out on river after you checked back the turn.

The question is what were you thinking calling the flop against 2 oponents in 3bet pot with K high???? (doesnt matter that they are fishes) and even worse why you bet the turn with K high????? FISHES DON'T FOLD!!! okay this time you got lucky , but really man if you will continue to make plays like this youre going to be breakeven for like forever. 0.40$ on flop + 1.44$ on turn + 1$ if fish calls his last $ OTR. you risked 2.84$ in this hand. Really bad play IMO.

just finished tonights 2 hour session and i do feel that this challenge is going somewhere.Bankroll 82$ and growing.

I've recently begun to have a whole new feel for the game and it really feels as though its very easy sometimes. had a few good sessions back to back today and it really boosts my confidence to get results like this over the past 2000 hands. this is only tonights graph. ill have to find this afternoons but i went up 8 buy ins today. Had reached rock bottom. Initial roll of 25 was stuck at 30 to 50 and now has suddenly jumped to 80 so im pleased with that. The goal of this challenge was to make it 250 by the end of this month. lets see how it goes. (p.s im not posting breakeven graphs or slight losing ones for reasons of prestige ) this graph looks even better than the previous one. GOD DAMN IM GOOD!!!!!!(pukes)

Your right i really did play this hand very badly but it was read and villain dependant . i got lucky to be honest. i aint gonna deny it but its wierd how bad these people are. wtf are they calling with and folding to a river dollar that they have left behind. lol.
