3Bet larger pre. I'm making it .55 at least here, depending on stats (I'm assuming this guy has bad stats?)
What in the world would make you assume he has bad stats? Nothing he did here is wrong in the slightest. To recap: He opened the button with J6s (standard -- remember this is the
button we're talking about), then flatted a
resteal for another 4bb, in position, against an opponent who was
240BB deep.
@Vynil, 3bet much much larger pre. I would honestly not see anything wrong in making it $1 -- you're deep, so you need to protect your
equity against spec hands that will see a flop for almost any 3bet quantity (which is exactly what happened). Your 3bet range being strong is actually very good for him because it means when he hits hard (which will happen about 10% of the time) given that he has position and you have initiative, he stacks you.
