This hand is dumb. No offence.
You are taking on an agro guy playing high variance game at 5NL?

Yea, couldn't agree with you more. This was like the only time i made a play like this over a 3.5k sample and was so proud of myself that came here to brag about it.

No more of those.

I actually 4bet light occasionally and also have 5bet light once or twice vs light 4 bettors :p otherwise ****ers tend to keep at it forever. But maybe that is not necessary at 5NL.

yeah there is decent enough regs at 5NL zoom to pull moves like that off in blind vs BTN scenarios

I remember a few regs who would always 4bet after opening the button and would often fold to 5bets

or regs who would always 3bet from the blinds and fold to my BTN 4bets quite often.

I don't mind the play but I don't think I'm doing it with 95 although I don't actually think that is terrible

Just for the record, i havent posted any graphs or hands cause ive been busy the weekend and today . Put in like 1 k hands but nothing postworthy. Will putting in some serious volume tomorrow and will be updating thread properly. On a sidenote, i did play a 5.50 rebuy today( spent 20$ , buy in 5 and 2 rebuys and 1 add on ). And managed to finish 70 out of 800 for 35. So im kinda pleased with that. When i say pleased, i mean pleased i didnt lose 4 buy ins for 5 nl that im currently grinding. So no more tournies and back to the gtind tomorrow.

Congrats :) but srsly, BRM man, BRM.

You could try separating MTT and cash bankrolls and sticking to that?

Im thinking about banning myself from tournies. Its like i see a 15 dollar tourney and i always think . Its only 15 $. Worse case scenario i just grind the 3 buy ins back. Thing is, if i dont cash, im then tilted that i spewed 3 buy ins and it messes up my balance. No more tourneys. Fact.. Trust me, im gonna crush 5nl. Crush it! ( if i dont pretend you never read this post)

Is it even possible in the software?

Maybe the problem is that the amounts mean nothing to you.

When I was playing 2NL I tried to pretend it is a video game and not money and the goal is to win and it kept me concentrated.

Set table limits vinyl, like you can set it so that the max cash tables you can play is 5nl, then you can either exclude yourself from MTTs and SNGs or set a limit. This will be good for you I think if you are serious about trying to beat 5nl. I have my cash limit set at 10nl at the moment and my MTT and SNG limit set at $3.

Yea it is possible. you can self exclude yourself from any type of game for any timeframe you chose. Definitely agree with the video game thingy. Cause at the end of the day, it is just a video game.:p

I'm actually gonna do that after i finish this post. Will only be able to play5NL untill jan 1st . It WILL be good for me cause whenever i open stars , ill know its the only thing i can play. So i guess i wont be all over the place.

Thnks MM. and good to see u posting here. thnks alot.

Alright, i managed to put in 2.5K more hands and am still breakeven although im running abit over EV.

will be posting the graphs later before i call it a day.

what i wanted to say is:

WHATS up with dudes running 8/5 over like 200 hands that suddenly raise UTG and then when we get to showdown ,they have JToff,,,,,,,,,,,,,,57suited ETC

Is my HUD messed up or something?

and no they are not raising cause its just me. Cause im running like a solid TAG/borderline NIT..

Weird shit going on.

Presumably they were card dead and got sick of it or (this happens to me) distracted so played more tight than usual.

Why donk? Chkraise him instead, people usually cbet, no?

River bet is definitely OK, arguably even the shove although the flop bet is too small so shove is overkill. I would bet turn bigger in 5NL Zoom since there are 2 flush draws and a straight draw :D people pay off easy peasy.

If i hadnt donked and had checked raised him. I think i could have gotten the job done with a massive turn bet.

I kinda screwed up in the Queens hand. Good point. ^^^^^^^^^^^lol @ that.

Played 10K hands at 5NL and was breakeven and to be honest got a little boring. So i decided to do a little shot taking at 10NL to spicen things up.

These two hands happened literally back to back within the first 50 hands of 10NL.

I never saw anyone make these kind of plays at 5NL so far. 10NL is where the true donks are at IMO.

You should see 25NL.

2nd hand is understandable if they both know the other guy plays draws aggressively on the flop. Flopped flush is rare.

JQ hand depends on his stats but default is fold.
