Nice run and very wise move paying off debts. It may seem counterintuitive but not just letting it ride actually makes me believe your more likely to succeed in poker.

I have been making a lot of posts n this cash forum trying to fix my leaks. Would win and then lose. Made a final 50 deposit. 10 days later I'm at 3000 dollars in my account. Just cashed out 2k. Still have leaks to fill. Went all the way from nl10-nl200. Thanks boys!!!

What blinds were you playing? Do you have pictures showing this? What were your leaks and how did you fix them?

Very good to hear man! Being that it’s usually the opposite that gets discussed/shared, success stories are truly refreshing!

I heard Cris “Jesus” Ferguson started off playing NOTHING BUT Micros, making a promise to himself to remain at micro-tables until he earned a certain amount; I believe $10,000 or something, as increase of stakes too soon can, more often than not, easily take away all that hard work/time/accrued earnings in a matter of seconds. More power to you, however, if you happen to be on an ongoing and permanent role!

Graph??? Chart??? Photos??? Site???

Hard to believe you just turned 50$ into a 3,000$ roll. I'm not saying it can't be done but can we get some proof?

Well done if it is true.

How all the other users said here, Congratulations & Well done, but be in attention not to play more and more, because it doesnt mean you will win more if you already win a lot. Cashout all the money and have fun with it ;)

Best Regards,
Jatoshi

Nice work; just don't get too entousiastic; keep youre game tight (ore the way you're playing); it could be luck; but what it was it gave you a great start (and great feeling). Keep up the good work.

Paying off the loan is a good move.My son did a similar thing when he started playing, ended up giving back the lot.
Plugging leaks is a fantastic idea.
Folded two big hands today against very tight players, conserved my chips and ended up 2nd in the ACR freeroll.
Find the right folds and your game will improve immensely.
A couple of rules I use, never limp, and most people have it when they make big raises if they are passive or very tight and you have to find a fold when they raise you.Checked your contributions so far, some excellent stuff. You are an excellent new member, I'm looking forward to more contributions.
Good luck in your poker and studies:)

Congrats on the second place run. Great post.

Big folds have increased my win rate so much. I would say that has been on of my biggest keys to improving my game. When I end up on a losing side of a hand and didn’t lose that much I view it as a win and when I win a hand I’m going for max value including thin value on rivers bets as well. Not being scared to make that bet has helped my win rate. No longer scared of back door flush.

I made a goal this year to become a serious cash game player get my self out of debt. I always played tournaments and got spit out and chewed out on the cash game. It was at the 350 hour mark when my graph goes vertical lol. I had been winning and losing at that point and was down about 500 dollars. Looking back super scary how bad I was playing. Making disciplined folds and doing my best to avoid weird spots like 10 8 2 rainbow board I have 99. And pre flop raiser is betting large. I just let it go and hope to trap that player later in the session.

Glad to see the risky shot paid off. I tried to shot 25NL with 10 buy ins, ran good at first then wheels fell off and had to keep moving back down and losing and losing. Ended up shotting 25NL Zone with like 2 buy ins and ran it up to over $200, and decided I was going to baby that money and lucky build up.

Def withdraw most of it, learn proper BRM and grind up again the slow but steady way I'd say.

Great post. I did play in a large 200 tournament lost some coin doing that. I’m advocating 20x buy in right now. Don’t really multitable that much. Maybe 3 tables max. Found that I make much better decisions. Currently playing .5/1 average $25 an hour. Per table

Glad about you man, my friend turn 10$ dep into 1.5k$ cash few years ago, he just played like you, shots on limits higher. No luck for me, in my exp. i lost alot 85-95% pots and broke( That's why i love bankroll management now ))))

No fear no distraction, the ability to let that that does not matter slide.

woww !!! is seriously??? 3k with only having deposited $ 50 and in 10 days; This is incredible. Tell me your secret.
Congratulations my friend

Played a lot, like 4 hours m-f. 8 hours on Saturday Sunday. Was crazy. Gained some weight. Going to stick a schedule we’re I work out more then play poker at night. I lost the most money when I bluffed on A high boards. bluffing in general, and when I was watching porn, on the phone, playing PlayStation. Just doing stupid stuff. I stopped all distractions and the money started coming in.
