I agree that patience is very important. I lost money because I was impatient and also could exploit some players because I could see they were impatient too.

1. You need to know your opponents so note them a lot and/or use HUDs

It's cash so you should always have the 3rd nuts or better variable getting ur entire stack in. Also BRM is like 60x also leave if there are no fish or donkeys

I'm glad I found this thread. Been trying cash games lately and found they're different from tourneys. I found that my fatigue level goes quicker at the cash tables so I have to remember patience and now I'll set a time limit when I'm playing cash. Thanks

Studying your play helps a ton. Also using poker friends who are winners for advice on hand history helps a ton too. We all want to be to right about our decisions but gaining another perspective that you respect is a great learning tool.

Trying now to have more discussions with veteran players and get different feedback on hands. Just started trying to take notes on different players now. ....and trying not to forget Patience!

Please tell us more about your awesome winnings ; I think am not the only one who would appreciate such tips from a better player. I hate cash games you can lose all your bankroll in one single hand facing a retard with a stupid hand. And there are still many players coming up with tips and other precious information. cash games aren't for those with small bankroll 10 - 30 $ and that is the most useful tip .If you don't believe me try it on your own .

Totally agree with this. Bankrolls are so fast empty with a really small bankroll. So I have a small bankroll. I play most of the time SnG, due to cash games hurt my bankroll so hard. I know, I'm a fish then but losing 0.80$ on 10$ is a lot.
