1. You need to know your opponents so note them a lot and/or use HUDs
2. You want to learn or get some money? If you want to get some money you need to choose your table for an easier profit as much as possible, so avoid sharks and regulars, look for tables where there are NITs, CALLERs and/or MANIACs, they will give you your money.
3. Discover how many minutes you can play on your A game, be disciplined about this.
4. have a stop loss to keep save all your bankroll.

You're right, "sharks" you find at all tables, so you have to choose with great care the table you want to play. Do not exceed 10% of the stack when you want to sit at a cash table.

Play at stakes you can afford to lose, and then sit with the regs and the "sharks". That's the only way you'll improve your game. If you always insist on playing with weaker players, you will never improve or be able to move up in stakes. Think about it, it you were trying to learn chess, wouldn't you want to play better opponents?

do not rush, be restrained, be patient, play only with good hands, and the most important advice is do not go all in as the ram with AA preflop until you see on the flop or river 100% certainty that you won

there are certainly exceptions, when your flush on the flop interrupts the full house on the river, but it's fate

Very good advice. I will add, on my own. When you double your buy-in, go out of the table, continue the game will not be mathematically profitable.

1. You need to know your opponents so note them a lot and/or use HUDs

I use a HUD as I was on the verge of losing all my bankroll, but still I'm not 100% convinced that you can't make a profit at the pettystakes without a HUD. I will give some shots some time later this year without HUD, mostly as an experiment.

But definitely there are players at the nanos who play without hud and make some money.

2. You want to learn or get some money? If you want to get some money you need to choose your table for an easier profit as much as possible, so avoid sharks and regulars, look for tables where there are NITs, CALLERs and/or MANIACs, they will give you your money.

+1

Perhaps most crucial point in today's online poker.

3. Discover how many minutes you can play on your A game, be disciplined about this.

True. For me it's about 3 hours, but I find myself to play some times even if I feel a bit tired, not in good mood, etc.

Also I want to add:

-PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE
-Avoid reg wars
-Except for the c-bet on the flop, almost avoid any other kind of big bluffs postflop, unless you really have very solid reads on your opponent.

Those are very good tips ... I would add that if you are a regular player at the cash tables ... try to use a HUD ... since you usually meet the same players daily ... so the HUD will allows you to identify them and give you an accumulated statistic of the hands played against those villains ... in such a way that you will immediately know how a determined villain plays ...!

I need to keep track of my stop losses better, I always auto top up when I fall below max buy in. And sometimes I find myself losing more than I thought I did, how do you guys keep track of your stop losses when auto topping up?

Little story about game cache. I went to the table where there were 5 other players. I quickly doubled my bank roll, and when I wanted to be at the table, I had a premium pair, I was on the button. The opponents came up with a raise, and I wanted to tear the pot and went to the all-in. After what the enemy dropped a flash and I lost my roll bank. Moral, decided to get out of the game - go out.

My most important tip would be:

Pay attention to your position. Your range should be VERY wide on the button (to include decent suited connectors, 1-gaps, small pairs, low-suited Aces etc), then getting narrower the more you are squeezed around to the SB, where you should only really play the very best of hands to include things like big pairs, KJs+ AQos + and so on).

I see people playing the exact same range of hands regardless of their position, and these are the people we win our money off ;)

You can, of course, play the very odd junk hand out of position if you can see the flop cheaply enough. Often surprises your opponents when you actually do have the 68os and flopped the nut straight.

Please tell us more about your awesome winnings ; I think am not the only one who would appreciate such tips from a better player. I hate cash games you can lose all your bankroll in one single hand facing a retard with a stupid hand. And there are still many players coming up with tips and other precious information. cash games aren't for those with small bankroll 10 - 30 $ and that is the most useful tip .If you don't believe me try it on your own .

good luck at tables!!!

Good Idea

Great tips!

I also think that you should always pick the right time to play and avoid tilting.
