One of my ways to amortize tournaments is to play at cash tables I have the discipline of when I reach a target amount, I proceed to participate in the tournament with the desire to get a good place - I need to know if it is an ideal strategy given that winnings take a little longer than just playing regular tables

I also play like this. It can be hard to keep up the discipline in cash games because there is no advancement. Sometimes I set myself a time goal. Without that I tend to play too loose after a while.

Normally you should have a bankroll that is specific to mtts, then you should consider your ROI. If you play let's say 300 mtts/month for about 600$ and you have an ROI of 20%. It means that every 100$ spend in tournaments you get a profit of 20$.
In cash games it's all about your winrate which is bb/100. Now you can be profitable at cash games but a loosing at tournaments and you should stick to the format that you are showing profit in.
That's why I recomand to have a separate BR for each format.

the strategy I use is to just get involved in betting with good hands and well positioned at the table, because definitely in my cash game, 60% see the flop, 50% see the turn and only 10% of the time you get it see the river.

I have a completely different strategy, on the contrary, I play tournaments to make money on cash games, tournaments are easier for me than cash games

I would suggest focusing on one or the other, some people are better at cash games others at tourneys. I would concentrate on whichever you prefer or play better. The skills required for each are quite different

I think, Everybody necessary to create your own style... By one simple cause: because we, as people are the all different!.. That's all!
And Good Luck for creating your Poker style for cash games!..

Cash game strategy? It is difficult to determine the above for each of us because many of us have different philosophies for such a game. And in my opinion, it also depends on the money you are playing for and how much you are willing to lose. Someone plays very liberally without waiting for the strongest cards, and someone else plays completely conservatively waiting for the strongest cards. What I think is that you should not bluff in such a game.

Building a bankroll through cash game play is a common strategy among poker players, as it allows for a more controlled and gradual increase in funds. By playing at cash tables, you can set a target amount for yourself and stop playing once you reach it. This helps to limit your risk and prevent large losses. Additionally, cash games tend to have a higher rate of return than tournaments, so it can be a more efficient way to build up your bankroll.

However, it's important to keep in mind that this strategy is not without its drawbacks. One major downside is that it can take a significant amount of time to build up a large enough bankroll to participate in larger tournaments. Tournaments tend to have larger potential payouts than cash games, but the odds of winning are also much lower.

To be successful with this strategy, you need to have discipline and stick to your target bankroll amount. It's easy to get caught up in the excitement of playing and end up spending more than you intended. This is why it's important to set a target amount and stick to it, even if you're on a winning streak.

Another important consideration is the game selection. Playing at lower stakes tables will be less risky and will give you a chance to build your bankroll gradually. On the other hand, playing at higher stakes tables will give you the chance to build your bankroll faster but also the risk of losing more.

Overall, building a bankroll through cash game play can be a solid strategy, but it requires patience and discipline. By setting a target bankroll amount and sticking to it, you can control your risk and gradually build up your funds to participate in larger tournaments. However, it's important to keep in mind that it will take longer than just playing regular tables, and you need to be aware of the potential drawbacks of this strategy.

In any case, you are risking your money, there is no safe way or strategy that will guarantee you winning, but if it works for you, I don't see why I should change it.

It’s just an attitude like a hobby, you did the job, you didn’t get a pie, but do one more, and after a bad beat, everything can be lost in the cache

The profits from the ring games are more in the present and they can begin in a short time. The tournaments give profits in a longer-term than the cash games. It is ok to go from the one to the other, because they are both kinds of the game.

You can also stay on the mid term here, that is sit and go! they are smaller tournaments with lesser variance, perfect for mastering the fases of a tournament and to build a bankroll for larger tournaments.
Playing cash games requires different sets of skills, so at a professional lvl, you should choose one or another to specialize... That would be my advice, feel free to say otherwise

I think that there is no strategy in itself for how to approach the games, if I can tell you that it is important not to lose focus because of a lost hand during the duration of the game.

Any more or less adequate poker player knows that most of the profit is formed not due to some of your outstanding technical skills, but due to the inadequacy of some opponents - “fish”. Also, any plus regular knows that the best way to take money from a fish is to constantly try to play as many pots as possible with him in position one on one, being the preflop aggressor. If you have been playing cash games for a long time, then you probably know that our main goal at the table is to find the fish as quickly as possible and take all the money from him before someone else does. You will miss flops 2 times out of 3, but so will your opponent. And if you're up against a fish that plays an insane amount of junk, he'll miss even more often.
