Thank's Monkey for this useful guide.
Don't know yet if i'm ready to switch to cash games poker, but all infos are good to poker players.
I would have add that UniversalReplayer is a good freeware easy to use to look back at your hand histories. You can then watch the action as an animation.

Right on! I fit the criteria perfectly for this guide : ) I have been playing poker online for almost 2 years now but 99% of that is MTT's and SNG's I do venture into cash tables once in a while but it's either a quick high or low haha. Gonna try and read over breakfast :) thanks again

Dude this is awesome! Thanks much!

I have been considering moving on to cash games but have held off knowing it would probably be a BAD IDEA! LOL But maybe, after some more study, I will do it!

I haven't had a chance to read it in depth yet but look forward to it. From my original skimming it really looks like a very useful guide!

THANKS AGAIN!

As I'm new to this forum, I happened to read your article 1st thing. I have to say that I found it to be very informative and hopefully useful in my future endeavors at the poker tables. Thanks again for the excellent read!

I do read the periodic "thank you" posts and I am glad people continue to read and benefit from the guide.

After playing a ton of MTT, and doing fairly well for myself... And playing cash games here and there, usually losing my money, I was looking for a good guide. This is just the type of guide I was looking for. I'll come back and let you know if it worked ;-) Thanks for sharing Ice.

Thanks for the guide, bud. I especially enjoyed the 'dealing with tilt/downswing' page. I love hockey, but I never took the being 'level-headed' from hockey and put it to poker. Cheers.

Thanks for this really good thread. I'm mainly a low buy in tourney player so the basics in this are going to be useful if i try cash. i agree ^^ the downswings/tilt section is really good. Even though when you think about it it's obvious, it still feels like your the only person in the world always missing the money.
