I mean I probably won't play till next week Friday? Have a 1k tourney. Unfortunately no real good grind spots on Saturdays but I'll leave it open. Additionally I'll be travelling next week so it would be a week till next grind session.

So just to note.
Ive had a hard time moving money around the Vic recently due to some new AML procedures and my lack of wanting to share bank statements with the world. As such I've been slightly cash poor in terms of my deposit at the Vic. I think my limit is 5k a day but id prefer if it were 10 or 20. The dumb thing is that I could just take 5K a day for 10 days straight and no one will stop me.
Anyway, as this is going on, after last week dropping like 20k. I only had 3.5k left which is a little annoying cause you know cant really get into big games with 3.5k. I end up at Vic and we have a 5/10 running but im way back on waiting list so I play the feeder game which was good but I just about broke even. When I get into the regular game, some of the good regs are double straddling and well, I am pretty much always going to double straddle.
Within 5 minutes I end up getting it in with Wrap and flush draw against overpair. I lose both boards in the 7k pot so I hop back to the cash desk and have to get 2,500. I absolutely abhor the feeling of having to go to the cash desk and use my card, it feels like the most fishy thing alive depositing lol.
Anyway I only did the 2,500 just in case I needed another 2.5k for a second rebuy and sometimes when I try to do 5k straight, they don't want to let me depending on the casino staff at the desk. So I set about just absolutely trying to grind the shit out of that 2,500 and turn it into something a little bit more meaningful. From that point I played really well, I timed my bluffs super well, and I coolered a guy in a 8k pot with set over set lol which helps.
Grinded to a 7k profit overall so I am extremely happy. Going again tonight and there is the 1k gukpt going on, I missed day 1A yesterday but could potentially play today.

Got in a nice session yesterday, interestingly, Joe Hachem showed up and wanted to play big so we got a 10/25/50 game running. Was quite fun, was a cool guy, played a lot better than expected Normally we don't get a game going on Saturdays but he wanted to play so we are organising another 25/50 game for Saturday which should be more good action.
I had 1 spot where I basically backed myself into a corner as I tend to do;
we are 10k deep effective;
I have Q865 1 suit, the double straddle to 100 is on, I am on the button and raise to 325. Get call from the SB and the straddle and double straddle folds.
Flop is A67dd. I don't have diamonds but the SB checks and the straddle bets 1k. I peel just cause I do not believe him as its weird for him to have anything and he seems a quite nitty fellow, so I don't think he does this with draws, prob wrap and flush draw but not many others.
Turn is an offsuit 10 and he insta checks. Obv 89 is a huge part of my range, I don't have it right now but its a good spot for me to bet. I bet 2k and he time banks calls.
River is a 6 and he snap donks 3k.
Thoughts on what to do on river.

What I have learnt over the last couple of years is that sometimes its really good to grind a tough game that really is not truly profitable just because keeping a table running is one of the most important things you could do.
Case in point, yesterday I walk into the Vic around 6ish and I see a 10/25 game running but there are only 3 people at the table, some of the better the regs at the Vic. It would have been easy to just go home cause I would barely ever profit from a game like that but again, if you keep a game alive and have open seats, something can always happen. One of the regs leaves and we are 3 handed. We proceed to play 3 handed for 4 more hours, with the occasional fish stopping by and dropping a k or 2 but at 11 oclock, a few fish walk in and we get a really good full table.
All in all it was a great night in the end and i booked a 16K win. So 2 day total this week is 25k which puts me back on track on the goal. Really good feeling since January was so abysmal. We also have another pretty sizeable game running tonight since Joe wants to play again.
Hope it fills up, hes not really a spot but i have a feeling that he can attract a few spots.

I just spend a good hour plus reading through this thread, you are indeed a sick human marginal. I respect that you keep on with your career and still can play poker on the side, probably helps to keep you balanced. I bet you enjoy playing quite a bit, especially with the people your playing with there. Sounds like your have a great game going, and i wish you continued good luck with your future endeavors and your goal of 200k, hope you hit 300k instead. 
Thats pretty awesome you got to play with Joe a few nights, he really seems like a good guy and a great player. Bet that was a blast, you seem to have a fun time there man. I bet you get a more than a few railbirds watching the action at times?

You'd potentially take it by storm if you streamed the sick stakes you play and mixed it up with lower stakes and just general variety.
Twitch is pretty dire these days, or is when I get chance to watch. Most viewed is that portugal pro who is doing a $10-$1k challenge and plays 12c and 27c etc mtts... And has a BR of $50... Boring as fck...

There's Gripsed and xflixx but even they are always just playing low stakes and doing $100 BR 'challenges'. They prob get crushed higher and don't want the embarrassment on stream and are happy with the twitch and sponsor $. Sad
