Played some Omaha and hit quads, had no idea whether I was actually playing them or not since I was only using one card from my hand though.

If I have AQ85 (don't really know how I arrived at flop with this in my hand lol, I had NLHE thinking and saw AQ in my hand) in my hands and board is AA5A2 am I playing A5 for the fullhouse or do I have quads (Since I'm only playing one A from my hand)? I'm sure I get screwed over in PLO in spots like this. I wasn't sure if I was value betting my hand or trying to bet someone off a hand like JJxx since that would beat my A5 fullhouse.

Must use 3 cards from the board (AAA), must use 2 from your hand (AQ) = quads

Lol, yeah it was just super standard cooler stuff. On a positive note it didn't tilt me.

@KD, as everyone else has been saying 3 buy ins is nothing. I would have been thrilled with only a 3 buy in loss the last couple of sessions. My favorite one was when I got it all in preflop with QQ vs some fish playing half a stack. He tables 9, 2 suited ldo and spikes 2 pair. After awhile you just shrug.

ok guys thanks for the advice about the -3 buy-ins. Will just take it as a cooler etc and move on. When I said Id never been down 3 buy-ins before that was a mistake, I had been, but I always played on and somehow managed to turn it around. Just this instance i ran out of time, so didnt have the chance to try and recoup my losses. with hindsight it was probably a good idea I ran out of time, or it could have been a lot worse, I guess. Guess that was what tilted me.

I'm only messing about at 0.01/0.02 for the time being whilst I get used to playing like an Omaha player.. Not going to bother re-building till summer when I've finished exams.
