2-tabled 5nl shallow just now for an hour. there was a guy playing 88/26/1.4 stats and was hitting everything left right and centre. Max deposit was $2 for this table, and he was sat there with $12, myself with $6. I'd been patient for about half an hour with him, just wanting that one hand to come up. This was the one. I flatted his bet cause I wanted to see what the flop bought me before proceeding, such a lovely board!

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (5 handed) - Full Tilt Converter Tool from http://www.flopturnriver.com

BB ($12.22)
UTG ($1.95)
Hero (MP) ($5.99)
Button ($8.45)
SB ($3.50)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K

UTG calls $0.05, Hero bets $0.22, 2 folds, BB raises to $0.39, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.17

Flop: ($0.85) 10

yeah usually I would, but this guy was so aggressive if other people were passive, so I wanted to act like that flop had completely missed me, thats why I checked behind him. Only thing that could go wrong with that board was if it paired and he had a set. Risk I was willing to take to screw him over.

ah ok, I see what you're saying. I usually limp them and fold to a raise, but because the SB called, it was worth my money to see a flop.

highly doubt he wouldnt lead sets, also i think that he would call with a ton of junk on the flop that might fold on turns, also get it in pre v someone this retarded

just cleared the $10 ring ticket, so bankroll is at a healthy $296.32. Have removed 2nl tables, as I was prone to play them, as I just love playing poker. Will now mix 5nl and 10nl games.

played 1500 hands today, all at 5nl. on one table I tightened up and played a 22/19/3.2 style which really worked, narrowed my hands that I played.Up $15 for the day.

KD, unlike most, I do think that if you feel you have a greater edge playing shallow/ cap tables than you do at uncapped, you might as well keep playing them. At this level, at the micros, the players will always be way too terrible to not be profitable but as you move up, a lot of ppl will learn to play more optimally short stacked and the edge/ win rate will reduce (even more so than at uncapped tables).

I am someone who just cannot play them, just because other games are way more profitable to me but to each his own. However, KD do you ever plan on playing uncapped or is this a permanent decision?
