they wouldnt tell me. i raged at them in about 12 different emails and always got one similar to the above back. after email 12, they gave me like stars headquarters email and said theyd let me appeal it but i had to take it to the top lol. so i wrote yet another colourful email to HQ and havent heard back. that was like a month ago.

as of current, im not allowed to have an account on stars or FTP. breach resulting in confiscation of funds and closure of any new acc. risky business haha

I think its outrageous that they can do that without reason. I know it is their site so as long as they aren't seizing your funds from your main account they can kind of do what they like legally, but it is still very dickish.

TJ Cloutier wrote a very good book on PLO imo. I think PLo micros can be beat - I prefer to play it live for cash and in tourneys online though.

I've just ordered this book (I'm guessing it's championship PLO (or something like that)). I've watched a few of the Vanessa Selbst videos and read Lyle Berman's Supersystem 2 bit on PLO but have still no idea what I'm doing. I have other books on order too but am determined to work out a workable strategy. I played a few cash games of it but quickly got stacked so I'm sticking to the pokerstars Halley's freeroll until I know what I'm doing. Hopefully there will be revelations to appear in this thread!

i don't mind it, make the raise a bit smaller like 21 tho imo.

edit, missed the paired board still like it since we can take him off 77 and 99 is rare and we block JJ and AA and no 3bet pre, we have stronger range. not sure its better than just outright potting river tho, not because of fold frequency, but because of when he checks back a straight and we lose

hahah it was meant to be smaller, but i checked it totally anticipating a bet cos vil was aggro. had my 'potbet' hotkey ready and just snap potted as soon as he bet. i didnt realise it was gunna be so lolhuge either haha.

i agree that they shouldnt. definitely shouldnt. however, my experience with zoomaha so far is that people do anyway because they wont know what to do if a FD gets in or the board pairs

basically he pots the nuts IP OTT, so his 50%~ raise is draws i rek, and everyone bets busto draws OTR in reasonable sized pots, so i value check the river expecting a bluff, but then having done so realise that i only have TP and could lose to some awks 2p if i flat so i jam lol

its zoom too so everyone just nut peddles, so the easiest way to win is to just shove on people like this. then cry when he snaps me w a busted FD that made a wheel OTR

I guess that makes a lot sense. Does your hand not look so bluffy OTR though? I guess you could have had a wheel wrap and it got there but sets get it in OTT surely and two pair just flats the river, don't they?

I don't know much mind so just guessing. Maybe heroing with 2 pair is above this limit? Or I just have no clue at all haha.

villain (flop donker, not RFI guy) is aggro as but havent seen enough of him at showdown to know whether hes a boss or a banana.



my (probably terrible) line of thinking throughout the hand:
FLOP: let barrel happy villain barrel away. (i feel like this is a pretty nutty flop)

TURN: Probs bad OOP? but feel that villain donking half pot and continuing range is a lot of draws that i have dominated.

RIV: couldnt have called quicker obv.

Think there isn't a clear answer to your question. It is so different each player and if the first one SB calls the 2nd one is always priced in IMO.
Altough I think SB if decent player has stronger hands in his range as the MP player.

short answer is 'not without being a RB pro'. the rake is jokes high though i puked when i realised what i was paying. and yes stars did adjust it slightly in the players favour.

Don't agree players can be so bad postflop at these stakes, I always recommend players that are starting to tableselect well and don't start playing zoom.

was less inclined to 3ball OOP my first day lol. ive got my 3b range out to around 7.5% now though which i feel is doing wonders as opposed to zero 3b yesterday lol.
definitely agree about not playing zoom. esp after i realised how much rake i paid today. its just so convenient though being able to 4table zoom instead of like 15table reg tables. might try normal tables tomorrow though.

EDIT: holy shit i just looked at the reg games lobby. DEFINITELY playing normal tables tomorrow!

also, im currently just using my 6max HUD for PLO, any suggestions on making one strictly for PLO? and i so agree that NLHE is boring haha

so good first week. no PLO manager sucks though. manually recording winnings and gunna use this thread to kinda keep track cos my organisational skills match that of my PLO skills. won 10 BI in the first 2 days at 50PLO then lost them all and then some the next day. all good fun and a good learning experience. good to get the gambooolz out of my system haha.

i feel like ive got my head around this game now, im essentially a bad reg (which is still better than 90% of the PLO population ive found). sticking to PLO25. i have the patience and committment to stay down here til 2.5k for PLO 50 cos i know im a noob also accumulating VPPs like its my job. shipithollaplatinumstar 17.5k fpps so far this month. rakeback come at me.

how should i play this flop. it only occured to me after i bet that if villain wants to get it in im probably dead to a chop. however, nut straight w top 2 seems way too strong to not raise?
did an odds calc after the hand, and im 17% to win, villain is 53% to win and we have a 28% of chopping.
i guess my question is, should i be getting it in on this flop and it was just a 'cooler' that villain had what he had, or should i be flatting his flop raise and getting it in on bricky turns?

He doesn't have much left behind when he raises so surely just get it in. You cant really fold even if the turn doesn't brick.

Think it's just a cooler that he has such a sick wrap but we all know that I know **** all.
