I am, but not as much. I play a little ~100nl and a lot of ~$5-10 tournaments. Still piling up bitcoins too. ;) Site is way tougher now than it was in the beginning.

More recently I am playing lots of live cash and tourneys.

Why are there 50+ players on 5NL Zone on Bovada, and 50+ on 25NL Zone, but almost nobody on 10NL Zone? And it's consistent too. Very odd...

Lately there has been 50+ on 50NL too.

I want to move up in stakes on Bovada but 10NL FR never runs regularly so I either have to move from 5NL FR to 6max or 25NL FR. Since I want to play live eventually I do not want to move to 6max but grinding a bankroll for 25NL through 5NL is going to be painful. Haha, what do you think about playing 6max for practice for live play? Pointless or does any little bit help?

I think any poker "reps" will help. I play live almost exclusively, so I am used to full ring games. The adjustment to 6 max is usually just eliminating a few early positions. If you are mostly a 6 max player who wants to move to live full ring, it might take some time to acclimate yourself to the tight early position ranges.

IMO, 6 max is great for honing post flop skills. You'll be seeing a lot more flops than you would in a full ring game, and ranges are usually a bit wider and somewhat less predictable.

Hi, guys

Really don't have any time for poker lately.

Found new job, bought new apartment and decided to get married with the mother of my child, all of that within the last 30 days. New job starts in July, wedding in August, and moving into the apartment next year in March.

Volume wise last month sucked, this month I fully expect it to suck again, I really dont like playing too much poker during the summer.

Excellent intro video on the Youtube page. Very CC.

poker stars $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players - View hand 2517120
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

CO: $25.00
Hero (BTN): $32.31
SB: $23.64
BB: $19.55
UTG: $60.94
MP: $63.64

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is BTN with 8 :spade: 8
UTG raises to $0.50, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1.50, 2 folds, UTG calls $1

Flop: ($3.35) 8 :club: A :diamond: T :diamond: (2 players)
UTG bets $1.50, Hero raises to $4.50, UTG calls $3

Turn: ($12.35) 9 :diamond: (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $5.55, UTG calls $5.55

River: ($23.45) K :club: (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks

Happy with the flop and I'm pretty sure I should be betting the turn too but I think way bigger, something I need to work on.
Is checking back the river standard. I kinda think it is, especially after betting the turn allowing us to get that ch/ch when a kinda bad card hits but wondering if there's value there?
I've found I lose loads less monies overall when I find river spots to bet for value and also when I find more folds. Calling/checking rivers is where I've lost so much money.

In before standard, fold pre etc.

Why are you 3betting an UTG open (albeit a min raise) from the btn pre?

3b pre's good, I prob make it a bit bigger + bigger OTF given he's never folding and we don't need to balance here

Call preflop. I like the flop bet on the damp board. I agree with you - bet bigger on the turn. $7? But I go for value on the river. So much of his range is 2 pr. And a great deal of that has a non diamond ace. I think I like bet/fold, but I am not sure. I just don't see him beating us here much... it might be bet/call.

Yeah man, 700 hands this month that's grinding right?

Pretty much for this reason.

I wondered if the flop could be bigger too but it's around pot I think.

Yeah I'm actually starting to think that a none diamond king there doesn't really help that many hands that end up beating us compared to the hands that just made two pair and will call us. I think if he raises a bet, it's either a flush or well played I can't call that. I think he's very unlikely to do that to me though.
