Step 1 to being a Balla.......Develop a thicker skin (imo). But on a lighter note......Hey, the Lakers finally won a game.....Now if they could just play the Wizards every day......

I'm going to mark a lot of hands during my sessions from now on, ranging from standard plays that I liked to obviously the questionable one's. I'm trying to think of ways to keep me focused and on track so hopefully this will do.

Oh and 8 50nl tables running already (poolparty)

Fair enough. For the record.....I'm FAR, FAR too old and geeky to be worried about being cool. THAT ship sailed a long, long time ago.

Played 1.8k hands down .5bi but felt really good after not playing for a week I believe. One thing I did note was I felt a little mentally tired after 1.5hrs (total of 2.75hrs) but I'll just toss that up to not playing in awhile.

Hand 1 standard
Hand 2 would you always 3bet the nuts on the flop, Also if you do i like 14-15
Hand 3 It looks like you always 3bet the nuts on the flop, Also same you more than 3x the reraise again.
Hand 4 looks fine vs a <50bb stack
Hand 5 same as hand 4
Hand 6 all of the hand looks spewy
Hand 7 looks fine
Hand 8 if you truly didn't see the CO if think it was played fine.

Not a fan of hand 7 I think that's way too thin, rest look fine given your assumptions at the time (not seeing CO in hand 8 etc.)

Why? Did I get the hand # wrong? I'm talking about the 99 hand.

You and me both. Lol, wouldn't nit pick over something like that!!

Just find it amusing that you think it's 'way to thin' to be value betting there, that's all.. Especially consid the stakes that you play at, to be saying that, it just baffles me...

Think about what ranges look like on the turn and what has to be true for the bet to be good. I think both other players have some Ax in their range and are not calling that much worse. Sure once in awhile we bet and get called by worse, but we have the worst hand too often I think and it's optimistic to think that when they do have worse they call enough to make up for the times we're behind.

Also please don't take this the wrong way but one thing I have noticed is at lower stakes a lot of people will see a video or hear about hands and think the secret to moving up is being more aggressive and they end up just blindly being too aggressive without thinking through what ranges look like and what their aggression accomplishes. I think this hand is likely an example of that. OP is trying to play aggressive and thinks there's a chance he has the best hand and can get called by worse and bet. I'm pretty sure if you think through what ranges for both players look like and think about what has to be true for the vbet to not be too thin it's just a super optimistic vbet. It'd probably be fine if it was HU but the fact that there are two different opponents both of whom can have a lot of weak Ax makes me just want to check.
