listen, I think you might be having too many people helping you, all coming with different ideas thus screwing with your game. just get 1 or 2 guys that you can exchange information and ideas with and stick with it.

I get what you are saying. There are a couple of guys at CC who have been kind and generous enough with his time to look at a lot of hands and discuss stuff. But the threads are open to everyone, and, TBO, I like all the input. It is like a cafeteria, you have to know whats good and whats not, just cause they offer soggy sick food dont mean I will put that on my tray as well.

A couple of things I am concentrating on now are dealing with agro regs and how thin to VB vs bad players.

One thing that is probably a leak is I am trying to exploit regs no matter where we sit positionally. instead of just avoiding, say, an active 3 bettor on my left.

To be honest with you I always try to stay out of regs way, if possible, but if they get out of line I hit back of course, but most times I just try and table select like crazy and just play with the fish.

If I have a reg 3 betting me hard in position I usually leave the game unless it is very juicy due to some fish. I leave because I don't want to get in 3bets and 4 bets battles with regs, my aim is to play with the fish and take their money, and at 10nl there is plenty of fish that I don't have to deal with the regs too much, even at 20nl and 30nl on 888 where I am now there is plenty of fish, usually 2 to 4 fish to each of my tables.

Quick update:

Things going really well. Climbing slowly up.

Ranges are becoming a central focus of all my play, and they are becoming clearer all the time. I can find my fold button as well as my raise button better, and I am working on 3betting and 4betting ranges, which hands to call with as opposed to just 3 betting and turning good hands that have to fold to a 4 bet into worthless bluffs.

I start every session saying to myself "It's all about ranges"

I also have been getting some great cards, which does help. But, I am also getting better at dealing with card dead sessions. One of my biggest leaks, chasing and being aggressive in the wrong spot when sessions were going bad. Now I just fold a lot more, find good spots to fight back, and it seems to be sinking in when to do what.

I am also finding some players do spewy stuff, like this:

happy you are doing well, listen: do some more hands this week and post some stats because I am curious of the changes, mostly I want to see your went to showdown and it better drop a couple %. also interested in you 3b but not so much in you 4b.

as far as it matters, at 10nl i hardly ever 4b without the intention of stacking off, and I think you should do the same, otherwise it means you get into 3b and 4b battels with the regs, things you should avoid until they get out of line.

I rather fold to a 3b light rather then 4b like an idiot.
